Easily the worst customer service of any Starbucks I've ever dealt with. The incompetence, random up charges, rude workers and... flat out telling me I can't order drinks I have ordered for years at every other location. In addition, this location isextremely slow. You will often wait 20+ minutes for the simplest of orders. Not to mention, it's in a Metro, no drive-thru andyou can't even do mobile ordering which is the most basic of functions in 2022. Store has gone downhill significantly in the past couple years. The owner really nickels and dimes you. She will charge you for... any change to the drink. Even if the same order in the app or any other location wouldn't. Even something as simple as askingfor "no water", she says is not allowed and will only fill your drink half full if you ask for that. And the new staff has beentrained to do the same. Apparently they have a store policy that forbids them from not watering down a drink (not joking.) Icontacted Starbucks Customer Service to ask if my order was allowed. They said yes, no problem, they'll speak to the store. It'sallowed at every other store so why not here. Yet I still get issues every single time I order. I asked if she wanted to readthe email. She said no, she knows better and was "in the meeting." They won't pay to hire extra staff so you typically have oneperson taking order and another making a dozen complicated drinks at any given time. This leads to an average wait time of atleast 20 minutes, even when it's not that busy. There are some very pleasant, friendly staff that work there (Sarah comes tomind) but they are clearly overworked. Thankfully, the many many 1 star reviews seem to be forcing people to other coffee shopsand the lines have improved a bit lately. At least off hours. Also, you can't pre-order, rewards usually don't count since youcan't order in the app and they frequently seem understaffed. One of the only bad Starbucks locations I have been to. 0 stars. Only Bucks in Georgetown. It's good for kiosk. If you come on Saturday, bring a chair as you will wait for your drink.

Such great customer service!! Emily I. and Owen P. were extremely quick and efficient. Emily was super knowledgeable about all... the possibilities and drink options and helped me customize my drink. She was extremely patient, a great listener and helpful!Literally such amazing customer service. The drink she recommend was so good! Painfully slow with no lineup and 2 employees working. Both girls kept looking at their phones instead of making drinks. There... was only 1 person ahead of me in line ordering a tea, I ordered a latte, and it took 10 minutes to receive my drink. In themeantime, a big line ended up forming behind me. Maybe put your phones down while you're at work and you have customers?Georgetown deserves a real Starbucks location, not this second rate one... Read more

Service was very slow 25 minutes to wait for a coffee and only 4 customers ahead of me. Several orders were for tea and should... not have take that long. Only one person preparing beverages. No one else in line to order and that person just keptchecking messages on his phone and only helped the other person for a few minutes. He also could not keep himself fromrunning his hands through is hair ever other minute. Read more
