The food is outstanding at the GlenTavern. It has been our go to for special nights out. However, I brought my friend for a 60th... birthday dinner last night… Again the meal fantastic, we each had drinks, a starter and steak dinners. I would definitely givethe review a five, however, a server can make or break your experience. A restaurant that charges over $200 or more for two, fora night out, should make the evening top-notch and be attentive. Our waiter took the order, and others dropped off our fooddrinks etc. The problem for me was checking in, I think she did once. When we were finished our dinner plates sat quite a while,I observed our waitress talking at length to other couples that were finished their meal. We ordered dessert to go, we waitedat least another 20 minutes. I finally asked for the bill and we stood up and waited at the bar because we wanted to leave. Iwas told they were waiting on the dessert. It was one piece of pie…didn’t understand why it took so long. Anyway… we bothnoticed OK and it really put me off. Read more

First time back since the pandemic. Not sure if it's just what I chose but pricing wasn't as expensive as I remembered. Super... worth it, the cooking staff are savants as I've never been disappointed & always impressive. The service is exquisite. Highlyrecommended. Coconut Cream Cake was a nice big slice of tasty. Oh my gosh, this place is divine. The calamari is great with the garlic aioli. The burger is the best we've had in ages. The... peppercorn fettucine was hearty and comforting. The creme brulee was incredible (they make it in house). Our server wasattentive and prompt. Great ambiance. We'll be back again for sure. Read more
We accidentally came across the glen tavern this Saturday night and where greeted by Daniella at the door to be seated. Being in... the food business I was completely impressed by the amazing customer service and attention to detail by all the serversincluding Megan our bartender. Food was excellent tasting and cooked to perfection. Very rarely do I give a 5 star rating butyou guys hit a home run last night. We will be back! Read more
Update: After trying their oysters to go, Lindsay and Dani were pretty adamant about trying the main course so we came back. We... got the burrata and oysters for apps, they were great! For mains, we went with the Lamb, Steak and Risotto, the steak wasperfect. The Australian lamb was really good as well and so was the risotto with chicken breast. The sides were full of flavourand paired well with the mains. For desserts we got the 3 on the menu, the espresso was good but the pie and Creme brûlée weredelicious! It was a great visit and a must try place for good food, drinks and great service! Old review: I’ve been wantingto come here for a while but got a chance to do some oysters to go today! They have really good reviews and that’s why it’sbeen on my top restaurants to visit. Lindsay was super cool and proud to work here. We had a big family dinner here and were not disappointed. Kind staff and delicious options. I was not impressed by the... extremely limited vegetarian options, but the coconut cream pie makes up for it in strides. That pie is perfect. This isdefinitely an expensive restaurant, so be wary before going. My sister said she loved the steak despite not usually enjoying redmeat for any folks interested in the non veg options. Read more
