We stayed 4 nights in the Captain?s Room. We loved this beautiful historic Inn. The room was lovely, large suite, spa tub,... beautiful linens and furnishings, harbour view, large balcony outside our room also with harbour view. Breakfast delicious withlots of healthy choices. A downside of traveling is that you find a wonderful place, promise yourself that you will return, and unfortunately never do. ... My wife and I found the Georgetown Inn, and have promised ourselves that one day we will return. Everything about theestablishment is comfortable and relaxing. Whether it was our room, breakfast, dinner, or the glass of wine that I enjoyed onthe front porch. The rooms are well appointed, charming and clean. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast, included with theroom, is a choice of one item off the restaurant's menu. Our dinner at the restaurant was the perfect way to end a day onPrince Edward Island. Appetizers - seafood chowder and mussels. Main - lobster mac and cheese, which we shared, so as toleave room for dessert. Wild blueberry cobbler topped with vanilla ice cream. The following evening our desserts were thebread pudding and coconut cream pie. All desserts are made on the premises. If your travels take you to Prince EdwardIsland, enjoy the Georgetown Inn. An absolute beautiful spot! We spent 1 night in the Rose room & we were not disappointed. The room is beautifully decorated, the... bed was great for comfort, beautiful gardens in the backyard where you can sit & relax. The property is gorgeous! A restaurantdownstairs that cooks homestyle meals that are beyond delicious! Your stay includes free breakfast, any choice off the menu & afree drink as well. A fishing wharf close by that offers deep sea fishing tours, a flower garden just up the street that you canwalk through, a quiet little town that has a beautiful boardwalk along the waters edge. So happy we choose to stop here & enjoythe beauty of the area! Read more
