The bread on my sandwich today was stale and the blonde kid who made my sandwich was just plain rude. My tab was 8.21 and I gave... him $20 then .21 and he said "I already rang it up" pitiful!! He slammed my cup on the counter when I said "where do I get mydrink cup". Won't go there again. Read more
Ever since we moved to Georgetown we made our first trip to this particular Thundercloud. As is always the case we were... pleasantly stuffed afterwards. It's super easy to place your order online and swing by the restaurant to pick it up a short timelater. Nobody was there when we arrived. The double meat New York Italian is one of my favorites. I never get tired of it plusit always satisfies my cravings for a cold cut sub. But I love most all the other subs too! Great sandwiches, greatinstitution. Update 4/7/21: I was disappointed in my most recent visit. After picking up my online order of a small double meathot pastrami I got home and discovered hardly any meat that was also cold. I only live 5 minutes away and saw them place it onthe pickup rack as I walked in the store. Oh well, I guess stuff happens. It must have been a new sandwich artist that day. We there in the last few days. Server was wearing gloves, but never changed them in the process of making several orders. ... Wiped hands on his pants one time, and made change for another customer then returned to sandwich duty. No change of gloves. We have always enjoyed this store, but better sanitation measures need to be reviewed with staff before we visit this locationagain. Read more
