My first time to eat here and it was very delicious and very quick ..Must try the bananna split and chicken salad sandwiches .... The rootbeer was good just wish their drinks were bigger.To my surprise the prices were very reasonable .. This little sandwich shop quite possibly serves the best hamburger in North Alabama. And they serve them with homemade french... fries. But that's not all they serve... I've had the Philly cheese steak and my wife's had the chicken fingers on othervisits. Both of those were excellent. It's worth the trip to Geraldine ... If you can find room because the locals know allabout the desserts that I haven't even mentioned! Read more
$40 for a family of 4 for lunch at a small town restaurant is very ridiculous needless to say!!! Went here for lunch on January... 19th for 1st time. Ordered n paid for our food first n then sit down. Waited almost an hour just to get our food. I had theChicken bacon ranch paninni w chocolate milkshake. Chicken was overcooked. Husband had double cheeseburger w arugula lettuce nfries. Burger was basic, not something he would want to go back again n have. One son had BLT n peanut butter shake. His baconwas overcooked. Other son had grilled cheese sandwich n sandwich was bland. For one if your in a small town you don't servearugula lettuce w burgers in a country restaurant! Don't let the name confuse you, this place is definitely more than shaved ice. We stopped here for supper last night and it was... great! It's similar to the old fashioned Dari Queen's. They have hamburgers, hot dogs, hand dipped corn dogs, sandwiches,desserts, and ice cream. Everything we ordered was served freshly made and hot. The service was second to none. They were so friendly and helpful on picking out the flavor of icecream. The taste and color is deceiving which we was told it... was and it was amazing. The crazy color icecream tasted like carmel! Read more
