Good food to take out or dine in! Husband & wife staff is friendly and helpful most of the times. Very versatile Chinese menu... that is a little different than others we've been to, but the food will satisfy most appetites. We really like coming to thislocation for it's convivence. This experience at happy uncle was one that I won't forget. I ordered chicken and vegetables they made a mistake and gave me... vegetables only. When we went back, they put three pieces of chicken in it nothing close to what is normally in the dish. Thenwhen I called the owner/manager was so disrespectful and rude. As I was telling the man what happen he kept saying are youcalling the right place you're calling the wrong place what is the address. Then I read him the address he said no we never hadthis order even though he took the order. From then on, he was contemptuous, incredulous, and dismissive on the phone. I said Iwant a refund he told me I drink too much and forgot to take my medicine. He said I was being rude and disrespectful I explainedto him being assertive does not make me rude and then he hung up. Read more
Absolutely delicious Chinese food. We got crispy beef and mu shu chicken, only left because we couldn't eat another bite. The... beef was 'close your eyes and focus on the flavor' good. Service was fast and attentive. This is our go to for take out too. Read more
I found a dead FULL GROWN roach in my fried rice! I called Happy Uncle to let them know that they need to clean up their... kitchen. They didn't even apologize or express any type of concern or surprise. I spent almost $50 in Chinese food. I amdisgusted!! I will never go back!!! Read more
Extremely disappointed with the food here I ordered a combination lo mien, beef with black pepper, combination fried rice, and a... side of wings and soup. The rice was extremely dry as well as the lo mine barely any flavor. The beef with black pepper had moreonion and green pepper than any beef and the sauce tasted of stretched out beef broth (way to watery). The wings had some saltand the soup was ok but for almost 50 dollars it was definitely not worth it i regret not ordering from hunan cafe all thoughtheir soups are pretty bad. Read more
Found one of those little knat flies in my wonton soup... This might not be a huge deal for some people, but for me its a huge... turn off to the establishment. I know that they cook a big batch of the soup and serve it out as people order it, but theyshould keep the lid closed so that no bugs or any other non-ingredients get into the soup. I called immediately after finding itto let them know they need to toss that batch out, but I don't think thats what they had in mind. They did offer me a refund ora new soup, but I didn't feel like driving all the way back for a $3 cup of soup and the guy who picked up the phone had a bitof an attitude despite me being really nice about what I found in my food. The other items I ordered were ok, but I had a weirdfeeling eating and couldn't really enjoy it. Will I go back? Probably not. To be honest, Good Fortune Cafe has better food and Ican attest to the cleanliness because I've been eating there for years. Read more
