I figured it's time to leave a review for this place since I order delivery from here whenever I'm too lazy to cook, which is... pretty often ???? I personally like the food here because I know what I'm getting. It's good, consistent, and a decent valuefor what you get. They also deliver pretty fast (depends how far you are of course). It used to be a bit less expensive, but aswith everything else, the prices have gone up a bit to cover costs. Can't blame them here. I think it's also a bit more when Iorder via Grubhub. This is because Grubhub and every other delivery app take a cut and the restaurant needs to recoup theirlosses. I don't blame the restaurant for this and neither should you. The moral of the story and this review is: If you wantAmericanized Chinese food (literally every Chinese food place, lol), then this is a pretty good option. Read more
Not sure if the ownership changed, but since they started serving sushi, the quality of the traditional Chinese food has gone... down. Been disappointed last few of times I ordered. I think a lot of their food is bought frozen, already made and it'ssometimes barely warm in the center. The chow mein was good. I won't be going there anymore. Read more
Great customer service! Ordered through Uber eats and realized I needed more of their hot and sour soup after placing my order.... I gave them a call and they were so flexible to modify my order. I absolutely love their hot and sour soup! Whenever I don’tfeel well and need a comfort soup, I think of house of fortune’s soups. The depth of flavor in the hot and sour soup and thelasting heat of their soups makes the meal a source of ultimate comfort. Read more
Bland overnight food that's just been reheated, and grossly overpriced for the quality given. How can they charge 4 things for... $50 and give something that taste so bland? Seriously disappointed, ended up not sitting to well with my stomach afterwards aswell. The only good thing was the dumplings that they didn't fully defrost, so you know it wasn't made by them. House offortune has always been my favorite place since I was a kid, fond memories with my family, but they really ruined the franchise'name. Read more
The food was hot, fresh, and flavorful. Not many places have vegetarian dumplings, but they do here, and they’re delicious. I... chatted with the owner and they were really friendly and knowledgeable about veggie options. I will definitely be coming backhere for dumplings in the future! This place has fantastic authentic but very reasonably priced Chinese food. I come here all the time, multiple times a week,... whenever I’m in town home over the holidays or what have you. The price on their flyer is different from what they ring. Just got single order of two different soups for and they charged me... extra $4 and stated that the printed menu is outdated. But they keep adding more menu on the counter top rather than trashingit. Employees eat while cookig while cooking. No sanitation. check your bill. Avoid this place. Read more
