Thursday evening dining. Theres a sign on the door stating the resto is short staff. That should raised a red flag with the... service during business hours. Took awhile for refills. To start off, I ordered 2 sushi rolls and soup (never brought out) andwas going to order more food (I was still hungry). The server never came back for a ?check-up? We dined-in on the weekend before Valentine around lunch time and it took an hour before the food actually came out. I think it... was mainly because they were waiting for the table to fill up with more people. The food was good, the show entertaining, andthe staff was attentive. This place deserves better as the chefs are fun and the food is tasty the hostess at the front had a terrible attitude and... rather argue on the phone with whomever than assist. My cousin had a broken leg and she refuse to let her sit even though theplace was empty and her dad was only parking as we had to drop her in front. From there the service only got worse. But thechefs were fun and meal was ok. They probably should consider getting a hostess that cares and wait staff with less attitude. This is indeed a hibachi place and likely the only reason why you might want to go there. Neither place itself, nor the food... "has its face". The meat came out dry and plain: hardly better than from the average street food joint. Sushi deluxe (depicted)was a "C". Sake - likely a Gekkeikan.
