I’ve been a loyal customer to this place since I relocated to MD in October 2021. This place is ALWAYS giving me a hard time... whenever I ask for spicy Mayo either on my roll(s) or on the side. The first two orders I made with them were no problem withgetting the spicy Mayo on the side included. However, every order after has been hell. The woman says “you need to add as sideonline,” yet I showed her the app does not offer it. If I went to pick up the order and asked for it at the door, I’d get itwith no problem. One time, I called after placing my order through the app and asked for it to be added and was told it was$.50. Today when I tried to place my order she said, “ if you want 2 that’d be $2.” I’m over it and won’t be orderingfrom here again. Food was decent - definitely not worth the hassle. Read more
They are punctual, this was the only good thing. Majority of the food wasn't good. It was bland and the sushi seemed too greasy... and tasted odd. The noodles, rice, and shrimp dish were bland. It was very disappointing as well as overpriced. Read more
Great local sushi and Asian place. I tried various different dishes and all were very good. As other reviews have said, it can... get a bit pricey, but the food is worth it if you want some good sushi or any other Japanese or Chinese food. Read more
I’ve been a loyal customer for years. The service, and food has always been exceptional. However…. I recently was ordering a... delivery when I noticed my bill was more than their menu prices. I asked why I was being charged so much. She said they changedthe prices, but have not been able to show the increase in ANY way or on any menu. I am not going to pay for something that doesnot reflect the price accordingly. Be careful if you order from here, as they will not tell you they’ve increased their pricesfrom their delivery menu. If you are not paying attention to their prices advertised IN their menu, and what you order…theywill get over on you. Just and FYI. It’s bad business to charge your patrons more money than advertised. Don’t be cheap. Getnew menus reflecting your new prices if you’re going to charge more. Read more
I was in the area passing through for lunchtime and decided to give this place a try as it seems to be the only sushi place... around with outdoor seating (during covid). Placed an order for takeout but ate at the tables outside. Ordered a spicy tunaroll, a cucumber and eel roll, and the crazy roll from the specialty menu and all three were delicious! Less than $30 for theperfect portion for my husband and me. If it was closer to my own home I would definitely make this a regular place for sushicravings! Read more
My boyfriend and I have been ordering sushi here for the past couple of years even though I worked at a sushi place. We have... tried other sushi places nearby and decided we will just go here. Plus, the prices are affordable and better than the 5 othersushi restaurants around my house. I haven’t tried everything on the menu yet but so far it was all generous, delicious, andyummy! Read more
Finally found a replacement for Old Shanghai (my old favorite Chinese restaurant in Germantow which closed a couple of years... ago). Disappointed that they took hot and sour soup off the menu (almost made me give them 4 stars). Their General Tso'schicken is almost as good as Old Shanghai's but my favorite dish is sexy jalepenos. Take out only, they won't even let you inside. They give you a menu to order from, but don't tell you until you notice the bill... and ask, that they've upped their prices. Payed 27 dollars for one sushi roll and one appetizer. Both were mediocre. Will notreturn. Read more
