I've been a loyal Tortacos customer since they opened their first location in Gaithersburg, Maryland. I've not once had a bad... experience! Their restaurant has always been clean and welcoming. The staff has always greeted me with a smile and made me feelvalued. The food is always fresh and made to order. From their burrito bowls, to their tacos, to their quesadillas, youabsolutely can't go wrong. Their prices are standard and fair for the quality/quantity of food. Sure you can be basic and go toyour local Chip*tle and have another mediocre food experience, but why would you want to when you can support a great localbusiness with solid food! Today's visit was no different from any other visit, absolutely wonderful. My burrito bowl was justright and worth the drive down from Frederick. Tacos are a way of life and its important to appreciate those who do tacos well. Tortacos has been a favorite spot of mine for a... long time, but they recently catered my wedding and absolutely pulled out all of the stops. The food was incredible, it wasdelivered at the exact time it was scheduled to be, and the price was suuuuper reasonable. This past weekend, Tortacos catered my wedding, and they pulled out all of the stops! They were right on schedule, everything... was delicious (as always), and all of our guests kept saying how good the food was. 5-stars is not a high enough rating for thisamazing establishment! Despite being in a strip mall, Tortacos is worth a visit. Started by folks from Los Angeles who moved to the area, they serve... among the best tacos in the D.C. area. Here's why you should go: 1) Tacos: They sell many of them and you can't go wrong. Iordered the fried beef tacos with cheese and combined with the dipping sauce...wow! It was hot, tasty and hit the spot! 2)Space: It's large with plenty of booths and tables. Public restrooms are in the back. 3) Parking: Because it's in a strip mall,there's PLENTY of parking. 4) Staff: They are friendly and clearly proud of their product. Staff was so friendly, prices are pretty reasonable. Plenty of seating. I got the al pastor taco and chorizo taco. Both were... tasty. The meat just felt a tad dry, but overall was good. Service was fast. Read more
