Celebrated my daughter's birthday there tonight! Party of 9 on a very busy night. The service was stellar, the staff was... friendly, accommodating and excellent!! The food was wonderful. I would not suggest dining here due to the food quality. The steaks are good, but everything else was just ugh. The people are... extremely nice. The place is very cool/historical. We had fried green tomatoes (not impressed), spinach dip (just cream cheeseand spinach), steaks (actually really good), potatoes (some of us had baked, some fried and some french fries they all were oldtasting and not seasoned, salads (good with gfs cheese if you order cheese), mac n ch (taste like flour with no seasoning) anddesserts (wasn't bad). The service is good. The place is clean. It wasn't a horrible experience, but with all the steak housesin our area this just wasn't comparable to what is out there. Read more
This is a great restaurant! The food and service were fantastic! The steaks are really much better than a very popular... steakhouse in Dayton. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice with plenty of room in the dining areas. The dessert wasalso awesome! Read more
We had a blast at The Florentine! Our server, Kali, took SUCH great care of us. The food was a bit pricey, but SO good. We loved... the fun decor. You have to try the desserts: they're to die for! My only suggestion: have a dessert sampler because we wanted totry them all! Read more
The food was delicious and the service excellent. The owner spoke with our group for a while sharing the history of the... building. He's a bit eccentric but entertaining. They have a good draft beer selection and a full bar. Read more

We were looking for a good place that we hadn't tried before, and this had mostly good reviews. We were pleasantly surprised. ... My order of filet tips and my guy's order of shrimp florentine were so, so good!! We finished it off with cheesecake. Theambiance was great and the server was polite, albeit very busy... Our 1st time here but it definitely won?t be our last. A friend of ours recommended their steak and we both ordered the ribeye.... He got the 20oz with loaded baked potato and salad and I got the smaller with a?gratin potatoes and salad. While waiting onour food we were greeted by the owner who was telling us of the history of the building and told us to look around. He had ustry a few of the different beers they had on tap and all were very tasty. Our waitress Kelee I believe was her name waswonderful. She went over the specials and gave us recommendations and was very attentive. Everyone there was very friendly andpersonable. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and everything tasted wonderfully.
