Did some carry out. Not the very best for vegetarians (worse for vegans), but the grilled cheese was pretty good and, let me... tell you, the people LOVED the meats. LOVED the meats. And these flesh-eaters are locals and regulars and the taste of thesemeats has not worn off at all over the years. Talked to the owner of the house of one of the eaters and he said they?d beenthere 25 years and frequent Micheal?s. They trust the people there. That?s what?s important. That?s why Micheal?s gets five ofmy stars. Read more

The food quality is average. Definitely better then other so called Italian restaurants in the area. Good service.

Picked up a family feast with an extra torpedo. $47 waisted. Must have used day old bread on everything. Garlic bread, loaf of... bread and 2 torpedos went in the trash. When I reached out to share my concerns I was treated extremely rude and whom ever wasresponding could not have been more rude and disrespectful. They will never get my business again and I will be sure to let myfriends and family know. Read more

Excellent bread, pizza bread, garlic bread, all the things. And for that bread you pay an exorbitant amount of money. Of... course I'll go back, but maybe not every week. Read more

This establishment has always had delicious food. It's one thing to be a good server & it's another thing to be a person of... compassion. You can be one without the other but this evening I encountered both in the same person at the Germantown location.I wanted this establishment & the world to know that small acts of kindness really do go a long way & is rarely seen today. Thisestablishment is blessed & highly favored because one of their servers carries both of these traits & I am truly grateful tohave been blessed with her service. I hope they see the value she brings to this business in which others can learn from. Thankyou, Jaylyn, (I hope I spelled that correctly) for your amazing service, compassion & beautiful heart. Take Care, Take Charge &God Bless. Read more

My grandkids LOVE their bread and Italian food. My grandson said I was the best grandma in the world for bringing them the... spaghetti Family Feast for lunch, and my granddaughter gave me a hug when I arrived! It fed me and 7 kids ages 3 to 14, with 1/3of the sub sandwich left over. I got the fresh bread instead of the liter of soda that comes with it. Read more

Review Date: September 17th, 2014 In Central Illinois, there is a fierce battle between local Italian places. La Gondola.... Avanti?s. Michael?s Italian Feast. Not only the trifecta of Italian places but also a battle of personal preference. My familyand friends grew up on Avanti?s. Others grew up on La Gondola while the rest had Michaels. It seems like once you pick one, youstick to it for life. Bucking that trend, I tried them all and loved them all. Michael?s has a smaller but very similar menu tothe other places. They offer their version of an Italian sub simply called Mike?s Sub. I actually had one today since I was inthe area and it was just as good as I remembered. It was served warmed and that amplifies the taste a ton. Avanti?s has arestaurant you can sit in while La Gondola and Michael?s have areas where you order at a counter and they bring the food to you. While this doesn?t impact my review in any way, it is something to keep in mind if you visit. After my initial visit, we poppedover to FrozenSpoon for some ice cream. While Michael?s has a few locations throughout the Central Illinois area, this one isspecial in having a local ice cream place as neighbors. Ice cream or not, you can?t go wrong with any of the Michael?slocations. Read more
