At 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 27th, my party of 4 arrived at the restaurant, and the parking lot was empty, and we could see... there was only a couple inside as we walked up to the door. As we entered, there was an older lady standing at the hostessstand. I think she had been standing there for a bit, based on the expression on the face of the waitress, and only got noticedbecause my party was within sight of the kitchen. A manager(?) sat us, and said the waitress would be right with us, but it tookher several minutes. The waitress sat the older lady at a dirty table, so she ended up moving herself to a different table.After we were seated, it took a long time for the waitress to come to our table. Mind you that they restaurant is basicallyempty. Since we rarely eat at Friendly's, and the menu is different each time, we were ready to order when she arrived. My twodaughters and wife each ordered the '3 for Me' deal, and my daughters each asked for a milkshake instead of the fountain drinkthat came with the meal. One of them ordered onion rings as the side. My wife ordered soup as her side. It was taking a longtime for our food to come, so I went to the cash register to get our waitress' attention, and asked that she bring my wife'ssoup. Right after I sat down, our food came out. Luckily, our food was good. We got checked on once even though was a total of 5people in the entire restaurant, since the couple left shortly after we got there. We got our check, and discovered we gotcharged full price for the milkshakes instead of an upgrade price and for the side of onion rings. I told the waitress, andasked for a manager. Some young girl came out, and said, "What's up?" despite I could hear the waitress explain what I said toher. She said, "What do you want me to do?" My wife said we shouldn't be charged for the onion rings, and she just startedwalking away, and I said some money should be taken off for the milkshakes. It's been a while since I've visited Friendly's. I got a chuckle at the sign which said something like save room fir ice... cream..you've been warned. No excuses. Not those words but the meaning was there. Kudos to them for coming up with a catchyslogan. I noticed the menu changed. The tuna melt I used to love is no longer available which was disappointing. I chose thefried chicken salad. It was just OK. Plenty of tender chicken above a bed of kettuce. A few tomatoes wedges and plenty ofcrunches. The ranch dressing was very watery, which made it seem like it was watered down with milk. For me, the salad justdidn't come together as I expected it would. It was like eating chicken tenders with a side of lettuce. It appeared there wereonly three employees working. One at the greeter desk who was also serving and ringing people out and two in the kitchen. Hugekudos to them as the food was served on a very timely manner. The waitress was just OK. She checked on us multiple times butwasn't overly friendly. Additionally she wore a large amount of perfume which made my husband have to hold his breath every timeshe stopped by due to his allergies. Friendly's is a staple restaurant which has been around forever. So we will continue tovisit, we just have to find new favorites. Read more

I wish there were more servers. I went a few months ago and there was only one girl working every single table. She was nice... and got our orders to us in the quickest time possible. I don't know this waitress's name but she deserves a raise. And morehelp. Read more

Unfortunately we had a disappointing experience. It was clear that nobody really worked together. We stood at waiting for a... table for over 5 minutes and several people saw us and nobody acknowledged us at all. Our server (Charlie) was nice, but shenever asked if we wanted refills of our drinks, we never got the to-go box we requested, and she never asked us after wereceived our meal how it was. The food took a while to get to us. When you spend $100 on a meal for your family, you expectbetter service. Read more

Normally friendly?s is great but this time i was not very happy with my food. I asked for chocolate chip ice cream over the... phone with my order the girl repeated it back to me and said chocolate chip. I picked up my order and the girl repeatedeverything and said chocolate chip when I payed. I ate the rest of my food then went to eat my ice cream and it was just regularchocolate. Now i payed for 4 scoops of chocolate when I wanted chocolate chip. I tried to call and get it straighted out but noone answered. When I picked up my order it wasn?t busy today. Read more

Friendly's was my family's official road trip restaurant when I was growing up so it was great to stop in with my own kids for... nostalgia sake alone. The food was good and the server was so nice. They seemed a little unorganized (possibly understaffed?)as it took about 10 minutes for us to be seated and they weren't very busy. Then it took a long while for food and desserts tocome out. We were there about 2 hours when all we got were a few burgers and ice cream. We spent a lot of our time waiting. I'dcome back again though! I hope we just caught them on an off night. It happens. Friendly's was always a family favorite for me. There is something about the Honey Bbq Super melt that keeps me coming... back. However, lately I have been really disappointed. The food is very much so over priced. For example, this is what $13.43worth of "loaded" waffle fries looks like. Pathetic really, especially when I paid extra for extra cheese.... The Honey BBQChicken Supermelt did not have any bacon on it, the tenders weren't coated in honey BBQ and there was no ranch on the melt! TheSupermelt cost me $14.19. When I arrived to pick my order up, I counted at least 5 employees, and the restaurant was basicallyempty as far as customers go. There was no excuse for food to be sent out the door looking like this. Needless to say, I won'tbe returning for lunch anymore. EDIT: I left the same feedback on the website the day this happened (provided by the owner onevery negative review). We will see if I receive a proper response (so far it's been 3 days with no response, I highly doubt Iwill get one). Read more

The food was really good, along with the deserts. Their specialty sodas were bangin' too. My only issue is the extremely long... wait to get our food. Other then that, it was a very pleasurable experience. Read more
