This small shop right next to Lark in the Gettysburg circle is worth a visit. The staff is great. Their soups and sandwiches are... very good. The avocado toast is a favorite with me. They have a good variety of bread and I always leave with loaf ofsourdough. Their pastries and cookies are also good. There is always a good selection to choose from. If you are walking aboutdowntown Gettysburg make sure to stop in for breakfast or lunch. Have a cold lemonade or iced tea or maybe a hot chocolate ortea. Make sure to bring something back to your hotel room for a late night treat. Read more

I visited on a Saturday with family. The girl who took our order was extremely rude, didn?t greet us when we walked in, and then... mocked me when I asked to order Matcha with lemonade because apparently they don?t serve it despite having both Matcha andlemonade on the menu. We ordered our food to go and without any direction from staff as to where to wait for our food, wepolitely moved to the side and waited. After waiting for about 5 minutes, the same girl who took our order, was mumbling to acoworker about how we shouldn?t have been standing there which made us feel uncomfortable as the place is small and again, wewere provided no direction on where to wait for to-go food (we didn?t want to take up a table for those who were dining in). Thefood we ordered was average and overpriced. The grapes I got as a side were shriveled and mushy and the breakfast sandwich wasvery small. Overall, the experience wasn?t great - I don?t think I?ll be returning and I wouldn?t recommend it. Read more

Pleasant atmosphere. The adult grilled cheese and Greek couscous were tasty. There are two small tables in the front (outside)... if you want to sit on the square, and a few (indoors) in the back of the cafe. Read more

My husband and I stopped in for a quick breakfast before one of the local tours. We got a selection of breakfast pastries, the... apple tart was by far the best! The cinnamon raisin twist was a little more bread like texture than I was expecting but stilltasted ok. I did not like the chocolate croissant at all because it was so dry and flakey, didn?t have much of a taste to thepastry itself and the chocolate was so minimal and tasted almost bitter, the inside only had one line about the diameter of apencil of chocolate. It was too messy to eat. After the tour we decided to go back and grab a sandwich for lunch. I had thepesto panini. It was quite greasy on the bottom but tasted OK, I got a side of the couscous and it was quite dry and lacking inflavor. My husband got the ham and cheese on a croissant with potato salad and he enjoyed both of those menu items. It took alittle longer to get our lunch items because they were made fresh after ordering. I also thought the prices were a little high.$4.25 each for the morning pastries and $9.25 each for the lunch sandwich. The building itself was very hard to find. It?stucked away in a corner inside another building. Read more

Super busy this morning but they never once made me feel rushed. I've been coming in for years, and can't recommend the mushroom... bisque, chicken potpie hand pies, and morning rolls enough ? The proof is in the pictures - our whole family enjoys! Be sure topay this Gettysburg gem a visit. Read more

I have visited multiple times since discovering in January 2021, my goodness, it is wonderful! The bakery is small with a small... area for seating. There are various bread offerings, pastries, sandwiches and desserts. You will find wonderful coffee and teaselection as well. Every product I have tried is extremely good, high quality and well executed. The staff are friendly, kindand able to make some adjustments to things like sandwiches they offer. Oh my, you don't want to miss this place. Read more

We love this small bakery. Stopped in thus morning for a coffee and some pastries. They recommended 3 pastries that we bought... to share for a brunch picnic. They also made us a fresh cappuccino. First off the pastries are out of this world delicious. They are perfectly sweet and playful--not too sweet and buttery flakey. Secondly, this cappuccino was so smooth, robust, andcreamy. Nothing overdone and the milk was exactly frothy. Excellent baristas! Finally, the staff is amazing. So friendly andseem to really love what they do. This is a must stop in Gettysburg! Grab a few treats and reward yourself after a hike! Definitely worth it! I really hope to visit this bakery when we come back. Read more
