This place is delicious. I ordered a cheese steak with a side of their French onion soup and it was the best French onion soup I... think I ever had. The cheese was perfect and the soup wasn't too overwhelming like it can be at other family restaurants. Thestaff is very nice and the entire restaurant has a great atmosphere. Read more
First timer. I'm always looking for good fried chicken. On the menu, their version is named as boasted. Well, boasted or not,... the was THE BEST fried chicken I have had in 30 or 40 years! Service was outstanding. Most cordial. Worth any time spenttraveling for this wonderful spot. 'Taint fancy, but what a meal. The corn fritters were a very favorable bite. Read more

The food here is great and the service is spectacular! I remembered my parents taking me here after visiting the battlefield 25... years ago and stopped in to see if the place was still as good as it was then and it is! I had the crab stuffed flounder andwife had the strip steak both were cooked to perfection. Don?t forget about the delicious desserts before you go! Read more
Friendly staff. My food came out hot and quick. The only thing is they don't serve grits that was very disappointing. Grits... should be mandatory in every state, LOL. First time here on my quest for delicious food. Prices are good and a lot of foodcompare to breakfast diners in Florida. A great hidden jewel in the city of Gettysburg Pennsylvania. Read more
I tried this restaurant for dinner and was not disappointed. The food and service were both outstanding. If you are in this area... it is an excellent place to eat. I had the steak sandwich because I wanted a smaller meal, it definitely did not qualify as asmall meal. Read more
