Excellent food the whole way around. I had the fried oyster and green tomato plate that comes with a little salad. My friend... ordered a type of a gyro. She said it was delicious. Amazing Greek food! The steaks are out of this world, especially the Chesapeake with crab meat! The stuffed grape leaf appetizer... is delicious and the shark dish was the surprise winner of the night! Olivia's of Gettysburg!! Want to have your taste buds popping with delicious foods that are absolutely perfect? Well then you... need to try Olivia's!! We had an absolutely Phenomenal Meal at Olivia's of Gettysburg. I have no idea that Heaven on Earthexisted right here in Historical Gettysburg and didn't even know it for the past 20+ years that I have been here! Now I have tomake up for it! It is possibly the best Food I have ever eaten in my life! Greek, Italian Authentic Mediterranean food is thefoundation but there is Soooo much more!! We started off with Homemade delicious bread and an Amazingly mouth watering Hummusand Dolmades: tender grape leaves stuffed with steamed rice, black angus ground beef and a blend of spices, drenched in a creamylemon and Dill sauce. Then for the main course John got Thai Style Lamb Kebobs which are Prime Cut Australian Lamb fire grilledwith House made Thai ginger sauce and served over fresh Spinach, Asparagus and peppers over rice noodles! Then I had Lasagnaserved with amazing garlic toast and a side spicy Italian sausage that was the BEST I have ever tasted! The price is a littlemore than we usually spend but absolutely worth it! We came home with several days worth of leftovers and 2 pieces of BaklavaAND 2 pieces of strawberry cheesecake that is calling my name as I type this. Can't wait to go back because I could eat thereevery day for the rest of my life!! My list of more things I can't wait to try are Yia-Yia's meatballs, Garlic and Herb porkchops, Greek Lamb Kabobs, German mushroom and dill gravy over Fettuccine with Yia-Yia's secret recipe Meatballs. Someone I know used to work here and he said it was hard work but fun. I?ve ordered here lots of times and they have wonderful... bread and hummus, basically any entree you get will be delicious. Not many vegetarian options but hey you can?t have everything!! This wrap was wonderful, and I definitely slammed it. Olivia's is a great place. Easy to find, plenty of parking and excellent food. The portions are generous so do not overdo... individual appetizers! All meals start with bread and hummus. I had the thick pork chops (two) which were very lightly breadedand generously doused in garlic butter. They were tender and accompanied by mashed potatoes and broccoli. Chicken caprese wasequally delicious and was preceeded by a Greek salad with feta cheese and grape leaves! While desserts looked great,unfortunately we were already full! Read more
So good!!! 10 stars!! I?ve been here more than once. Every time our servers were awesome, knowledgeable, and all around... friendly. Great food. We had the rib-eye, stuffed peppers, mousaka, salad, soups and more. Every time I was here I was happywith everything and that?s rare. I?m that person that has an issue with something. Lol.
