Paid the extra price for the salad bar. Was not fresh and some things were empty or close to empty. I got sample of 3 shrimp.... Were piled on top of each other. Husband hot chicken strips. Were so overdone he could hardly bite into them. Was a verydisappointing visit. Read more
I hate to give poor reviews of a restaurant business, but since this is a National Chain, I expect a better experience. I've... eaten at this local Ruby Tuesday many times in the past 20 years, so I'm quite familiar with it. We CHOSE Ruby Tuesday, becauseI craved RIBS! The waitress/manager informed me that the ribs wouldn't be available for another THREE HOURS! ???????? I shouldhave just left right then. So I chose the Pulled Pork Sandwich, which was advertised on the table-card-ad. What I received wasFAR from what I was expecting. (see photos) - (Tots were an option, and at least they were good) The portion of pulled pork"patty" was paltry, pale, and partially palatable. It was a dry, mashed lump of meat, with sauce dribbled onto it. It didn'teven fall apart --- I had to manually break it into pieces, in order to get the bbq sauce to "intermingle". I had to bring thisto the attention of my waiter/manager, and she said that that was the "proper portion". She offered additional meat, and Iaccepted. Together, the TWO portions were almost enough to fill the brioche bun. As I tried to compare "what I saw on the card"with "what I got on my plate", well, I just had to chalk this meal up as a loss... aided by deceptive (albeit enticing)photography. They must have shoved ALL of the meat to the edge of the bread, and then placed the top on it. In addition tothat, the rest of the experience was so-so. - The once nice paintings, are now covered with "chalkboard paint". - The carpetedfloors are way beyond their "use by date". - The tacky vinyl table coverings were sloppily tossed onto the tables. - The musicchoice was Late 80's - Early 90's, but the clientele were definitely 60's to 70's (age AND Music Era) But, I will say that theservice was good, and appreciated, in spite of these issues. Very nice restaurant. Very friendly, kind, considerate, congenial and knowledgable staff. Our gretter was fantastic and... accommodating. Our waiter was very nice helpful and efficient. The burgers were good, the salad bar was awesome as usual. Niceselection, clean and eye appealing. Service was fast and accurate. Bathrooms are close to the front and handicapped accessible.Plenty of handicapped parking easy flat entrance. Kids menu too. Nice clean pleasant atmosphere. Price's are $10.00-$20.00average considering the times. You also pay at your seat to your waiter/waitress for those with limited mobility that'swonderful. Try it, it's very nice. I try to overlook a lot but the place was very dirty. Seats, tables, and my silverware was so disgusting I almost got sick. Our... waitress waS very nice and felt bad about it. Our food tasted good but I couldn't get over the dirt. The blinds were dusty andhad food on the slats. I know people don't want to work and I hope it improves as we have gone there a good many times. I'm notsure I will ever go again to this one. Read more
Salad bar is ALWAYS good!!! The loaded nachos was good but barely had any toppings on it, very skimpy. But the nacho chips were... real good, just needed more toppings, it was pretty naked. The chicken sandwich entrees were not great. Tater tots were overcooked. The sandwich was just ok. The Service was good though. Read more
Unfortunately, the lack of staff again takes what would have been a pleasant experience and turned it into a so-so. Arrived for... lunch, and could see that there was only 2 servers. Waited to be seated for several minutes. Once seated, it took another 5-10minutes for the server to get to us for our drink order. We also ordered our food to keep things moving. Food was ok, nothingspecial, but service was slow, although I know it's not the server's fault. It's sad that the industry is hurting so bad forstaff. Read more
Ultimate Crispy Chicken Sandwich w/ff. While not even close to the picture, the sandwich wasn't bad. Totally missed the taste of... the honey garlic glaze and honey mustard sauce but instead had the flavor of a BBQ which gave it a nice bit. French fries lookedover done but turned out surprisingly amazing. The salad bar was fresh and had a decent variety, yet not fir the 12.49 pricetag. Over all the meal was very good. Read more
We went to this location for dinner as it was convenient. Even though our kids didn't want to go because they said we always get... bad service at the Gettysburg Ruby Tuesday. It had been some time since our last visit so we gave it a try. We should havelistened to the kids. We are a family of 4 and they sat all of us in a 2 person booth in the bar. We requested a regular tableor booth and they moved us to a larger table. We sat for 15 minutes without anyone speaking to us. We saw two waiters helpingother customers but no waiter approached us. When we arrived there were only four other tables occupied by customers so theyweren't at all busy. After waiting over 15 minutes we decided to leave. The hostess stopped us and said the manager was about tocome and speak with us. She also stated that our waiter wasn't helping us because he doesn't like to wait tables in the areathey sat us in. We left and the manager never approached us. That was the absolute last time we will ever step foot in theGettysburg Ruby Tuesday. Highly recommend that you skip this place. Read more
