Come here regularly for gelato. Never been disappointed. If it sounds good or looks good, then it probably is. Had the passion... fruit and raspberry pomegranate scoops this time around. Went down easily. Staff were helpful and friendly. The store has othervarious items for you (eg: tylenol, baked goodies, soft drinks, energy drinks). We have ordered an ice cream many times and theyhave always been great. Highly recommend this place. Hope you enjoy it too. Read more
Went here for some gelato! Had mixed berry. They have plenty of dairy free options that were super tasty. Good service as well.... With plenty of outdoor seating :) Would definitely go back. Read more
This place has the best gelato I have ever had. And their sandwiches and baked goods are all excellent as well. Don't be fooled... by the unusual apperance of the decor. Everything is made fresh in house. Read more
Was told that Mike's place makes the best sourdough bread and they do make an amazing sourdough! However, they, also, have a... huge selection of in house made ice cream (3 freezers worth) and they all taste heavenly and at a reasonable price! Read more

One of my favourite place in town. I come all the time: I watch all the flavors of gelato, but at the end I order always... chocolate and lemon. And it tastes great. I ate a looot of gelato (I’m Italian…) and thankfully I have Mike’s Place intown, so I have not to buy gelato in grocery stores. I promise I’ll try also all the other flavors before the end of thesummer. People who are working there are very nice, fast and polite. Super busy but always calm and smiling. Highly recommend Mike's Place for gelato! An excellent Gelato, i was served by the owner's son-in-law, he and staff was... friendly, I tried a few flavours, gelato was thick, creamy and yummm. I would request them to wear gloves when handling icecones. (especially during Covid19). I tried other gelato places of Vancouver as well but they were no comparison with thisplace. Excellent Gelato. Fabulous flavours. I heartily recommend the orange chocolate, better than a Terry's Chocolate Orange.
