We came before dinner hour - about 3:30. It was empty. The waiter offered us a drink but had no idea if there was a happy hour.... There were also no prices listed for any drinks (except beer). Really good food, amazing salad bar. Service is usually very good as well. Only thing keeping it from getting 5 stars is that... their a little on the pricey side, even for a steakhouse. This place deserves more than 5 stars because it truly exceeds the expectations you could have about a roadside restaurant that... you stop at in the middle of a road trip. We highly recommend Santa Fe Steakhouse! They have gourmet food (highly recommend theCorpus Christi Chicken!) and more simple foods like burgers and sandwiches. The rolls and sweet butter is so yummy! The staff isso friendly and helpful. I asked for coffee and the waiter let me know that they always keep it freshly made. Fairly priced andgreat portions! Stopped in on a Friday at lunch time with a small group of people. They have adequate parking, and a lovely clean restaurant.... One side is dining, the other is the bar area. Selection is varied with classic steakhouse cuisine dominating. A large and wellstocked salad bar tempted a few of us. I enjoyed their steak salad, which was a generous salad portion with a delicious steaktopping cooked to order. My friend had the chicken salad which was also a large portion and quite tasty. Another friend devoured the ribeye steak, stating it was delicious. We topped it off with a slice of cheesecake which serves two ormore....scrumptious! Arrived at 330 pm on Thursday, 11.17.2022. We were greeted and seated quickly, order was taken, drinks served, our dinner was... ready in just a few minutes. The salad bar was nice and has many offerings. Our steak dinners were great, bread rolls areawesome. Our waitress was pleased that we spoke Spanish, though her English was impeccable.
