A very great family run restaurant. Started off with the frog leg appetizers, which tasted like chicken! Not something I've seen... offered in a lot of places. The main course was the prime rib and my partner got the filet mignion. It was super tender and oneof the best steaks I've ever had! Read more
The best food?.everything perfectly cooked and seasoned. And the service is top notch. I was late coming from the horse show -... literally 5 minutes before closing and called and Don, the owner, said no problem come on over and he?d turn the grill backon. Very cool looking building but a little drafty. Staff very nice and polite. Ribeye steak was undercooked, tough and stringy. ... Worst I?ve had in a while. Didn?t care for the ?southern? style green beans. Mashed potatoes and gravy were a home run as wasthe salad. Little pricey for a small town establishment. With some tweaking it could better. 2nd time here and everything was perfect!! Tonight I had the pork chop and hubby had the surf n turf kabob. My pork chop was... cooked perfectly!! The mac n cheese is the bomb! Our first visit we had ribeye steaks which were also cooked perfectly. We gotthe loaded baked potato and it legit came with real slices of bacon on it and not some fake bacon bits. What a great experience tonight and the food was excellent! Filet mignon was melt in your mouth tender and full of flavor. My... husband had the prime rib, medium rare, and it was delicious as well. Definitely worth the trip and price. Read more
