My wife's first time in, my seventh time here. As we sat down the atmosphere is nice, but we became increasingly worried about... the cleanliness of the resturaunt. As we were sitting, we had over 12 knats/bugs flying by our face and as we had our food,trying to land on our food. The windows (picture attached) had 5 bugs on them which is the area to the kitchen is. I wasswatting bugs the entire time we were sitting down. I had to have killed 4 or 5 of them. When the staff saw me swatting thebugs, they looked the other way and didnt mention anything like they knew this was an issue. The food was extremely overpriced.Like a single order of sushi rolls can cost up to $30. Both my wife and I felt ill after eating the food, which had littleflavor and smelled weird... made us nervous. The waiter didnt seem to care either about serving, so that tied a nicedisappintment 'knot' on the experience, as well as the bugs, the smell, the lack of taste combined with high price wasdisappointing. What blows my mind after reading the reviews is that each bad review (many of which were very similar issues asours i.e. flying bugs everywhere, food poisoning, prices, etc), they all had a messages/responses from the manager about howthey take pride in their experience and food, yet here we are after 2 years worth of those reviews. The responses frommanagement are saying that you guys care about the issues customers are experiencing, but still to this current day my wife andI experienced those problems today. First time going, the service was awesome and very nice ambience! We did notice a little bug flying around us which was very... annoying, then it turned into three little bugs flying around the whole time. They looked like fruit flies? We were sitting inthe dining room which on the other side of the half open bar to the outside and inside. The restrooms just felt dirty, and thegirls restroom reeked of sewer. But I think that's just all the bathrooms at this mall. The food was just okay, it wasn'tterrible and wasn't amazing. The only dish that was really good was the spicy shrimp tempura. Very flavorful. Everything elsewas just meh. The spicy chicken stir fry was very small for the price which was a bit disappointing. It wasn't spicy, actuallysweet to me, but I'm just good with spice I suppose. The spicy ribs were tough but my boyfriend still enjoyed it. The sushi isworth it but anything else isn't worth it for the price. The presentation is nice. For sure a place to try out if your curiousbut I don't see myself coming back unfortunately. Read more

I've been wanting to try this place out for while, didn't pass-up the chance to do it this time. It was worth it! Loved the... juicy steak and greens; the herbs added to the seasoning, and the flavor was just right! We were here celebrating my partners birthday. The server Monique provided great service but because it was Easter weekend there... was a limited menu. Food was good and they gave him a cake because of his birthday. Giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because therewere quite a few gnats or some kind of bugs flying around (we were indoors) and we have to keep swatting them away so theywouldn’t land on our food. One of my favorite places ?? went with friends and ordered calamari and shrimp for appetizers it was amazing ?????? and we also... ordered sushi also steak and one of our friends ordered chicken and was amazing as well!! I have been going to Kona Grill for many years. I always make it a priority to have dinner when I travel from New Mexico to... Arizona. Now that I live in the valley I am enjoying Kona Grill more than ever. The Establishment has a fantastic atmosphere.Their sushi rolls always amazing, their entrees are unlike any I've ever tasted. Just an absolutely magical evening. We love the open to the outside atmosphere. The food was amazing. Our server Nico was the... icing on the cake. Helpful, considerate, kind and willing to give her opinion of her favorite dishes. A return visit isdefinitely in our plans. Read more
