Have always been a fan of LoLos since I first tried it over at the scottsdale location 10 years ago. The chicken has always... tasted great, crunchy outside with tender juicy inside. Blend that with some waffles and bumping some nice tunes while enjoyingyour meal always makes for a great experience We went to the Gilbert location and the food tasted the same as always. Had friedOkra on the side and... the kids loved it! Hint hint if you wanna sneak some veggies to them ????. Staff did give us a heads upto let us know they were understaffed and that food being cooked would take longer than usual. Since they gave us a heads up andwe were with family with plenty of time to talk about things, this wasn't a problem. I do miss the vinegar/ pepper condimentthat they used to have. Overall experience was still great but for anyone that's in a rush or wants that quick bite, best towait until they're back to full staff to get that quicker service. Read more

We usually have a great experience at Lo-Lo's but not this time. We waited about 5 minutes for a host to come out and seat us.... Then she said she would come back to clean the table (it was very dirty) but never did. We then waited 15 minutes before ourserver finally came out to greet us. Multiple tables were full of abandoned food as they apparently didn't have time (or staff)to pick them up. We got our drinks but if small (kid size?) mason jars as opposed to the traditional large mason jars they use.My guess, is they probably ran out of clean large mason jars. Then when the food finally came out, the salad we had ordered wasterrible. The tomatoes were rotten, there was barely any lettuce, it had the wrong style of chicken and was missing bacon. Also,the sandwich was missing dressing and was cold. This was not the experience we wanted, especially for these prices. Sad to seethis place go downhill like this. Read more

Overall the food quality has gone down. The chicken & waffles were the best part. Biscuits gravy are not as I've had before from... this place. They accidentally put cilantro on our gravy and when we sent it back they didn't offer to replace it. I'd say gohere for the chicken... and waffles lol Read more

Great restaurant! We sat outside and enjoyed the atmosphere and activity of Chandler passing by us. There was a DJ, who was... playing all the best music and made it difficult for us to want to leave when our meal was over! We started with fried okra; sogood! Drinks were Rooster Punch, Lo-Lo's Punch, and red Kool-Aid. The punches have alcohol and were really good, but that redKool-Aid was the best! My friends ordered the #7, chicken and waffles, and they said it was delicious. I tried the waffle, andit was perfectly cinnamonny, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Another friend ordered the Big Azzz sandwich, andyes, it was huge! He was mmmm-mmmming the whole time he was eating it. He did finish the entire sandwich! I ordered the soulfood platter with catfish, collards, mac n cheese, and a cornbread muffin. It was all delicious, and I was able to take half ofit home. It's definitely a two-person meal. I highly recommend Lo-Lo's. The service did start out slowly (we weren't checked onfor the first 20 minutes we were seated), but once we talked to the hostess as she walked by, she got our drinks going and theservice from the waitstaff was good from that point on. Haven't been back here in a long time based off the past visits here in the Gilbert location. I frequently visit the... Scottsdale location and find that location exceptional. This visit didn't let me down as my visit was horrendous asunfortunately expected. We were seated quickly and that was the only speed of service given. It took 15 minutes to begreeted as our server and everyone else looked at us and continued on their way. Once greeted by a trainee and her trainerfinally acknowledged us. Order was taken but it took another 25 minutes to get the drinks we ordered. They sat at the bar afterbeing made for 12 and half minutes. We then received our appetizer which was wrong and immediately received our food whichwas wrong also. We drank the drinks anyway as we didn't want to wait any longer period for watered down drinks. The appetizerwas taken but replaced with an incomplete order as they had runout of the item we ordered. The appetizer came again but wasafter we almost finished our dinner. When asking for the check it still took a long time to closeout our visit. I dounderstand that the times are tough in the restaurant world but there is no excuse for our entire visit to be like this. But asI stated before this location offered this same service way before the pandemic was here. We dined in at the Gilbert Lola?s on 30 Dec 2021 at 5PM. We were seated, I was surprised that the restaurant had just opened... it?s front door at 5PM. The place was cold, too cold. I ordered shrimp Mac n cheese, my wife ordered 3 piece chicken. She wantedmashed potatoes, but our waitress told us they weren?t ready,hmmm. My wife also ordered the fried green tomatoes as anappetizer. The waitress didn?t tell my wife what pieces of chicken she was getting, when my wife asked her, she told us it wasrandom. So my wife asked for thighs. My dinner came first, then the waitress brought my wife 3 breasts with greens. It wasn?twhat she ordered at all. The waitress went back and brought the correct order out. We were still waiting for the appetizer toshow up. The waitress explained that it was taking a long time and she would take it off the bill. My wife ate her meal, my mealwas over seasoned and shrimp overcooked. I finished all but one shrimp and didn?t touch the Mac n cheese, if that?s what it was.The tomatoes arrived and my wife ate one. The bill came to $56.00 for the chicken and shrimp Mac n cheese. I did have sweet tea,my wife had water. So, when I go to a restaurant, I expect it to be comfortable inside. It was too cold. I also expect the itemson the menu to be available, no mashed potatoes? In my opinion, you failed. The waitress apologized for my food. It was mymistake to eat there, I apologized to my wife. I thought it would be much better. Very disappointed. Can I get a refund for$56.00, I cannot recommend LoLo?s. I won?t be back. I arrived 30 minutes before closing. Although they were already cleaning everything up they seated me without hesitation. This... was my first visit and my first thought when the food came out was "this waffle isn't going to be big enough". It was! I had athigh and leg with it and it was plenty. Music is poppin', our server, "Ray" was professional, kind, friendly, and made suggestions, and the overall atmosphere is good.... The food was good too. I wasn't expecting good soul food in Gilbert. The yams are sweet, the chicken is seasoned, the wafflesare tasty, and the greens were "on point" according to my brother (I didn't taste them). I didn't have fresh mac n cheesebecause it was "early" so that was a bit disappointing, but it was cool. My brother also ordered shrimp n grits before and heliked it. I may go back.
