First time trying and very impressed.. location is tucked away in the back corner of Gilbert Town Square next to Regal Cinema.... Service was very fast and plenty of seating. I ordered the Cubano which I found to be cut differently?. but it all it tastedgreat and that?s what matters most! It also came with a bag of chips and drink. Delicious! Customer service is the best of any place in the valley. We ordered the Ruben and the club (with potato salad and... macaroni salad as sides for additional fee) and both are phenomenal and filling. Also shared an Oreo cookie and a smores stuffedcookie. Huge and satisfying. Read more
Saw that this place won best deli in Arizona so we had to try it. It was amazing. Hubby got the tuna melt to eat there and he... got the chicken salad sandwich to go. I got the hot pastrami on an Italian roll to eat there and got the meatball sandwich togo. We got the famous chocolate chip cookie and the Reese?s stuffed cookie. Wow! Nice clean place with friendly and helpfulstaff. We will go back to try the pasta salad, potato salad and Mac-n-cheese. Update 10/12/19 evening: Just had half of myhubby?s chicken salad sandwich (but put it on thin round bread at home) and it is great. So tasty! I will get this next timewe go to NYT Deli! Yum! Incredible! Best sandwiches in the valley! I had the Cubano and my husband had the white BBQ pork sandwich! We were greeted... immediately upon entering by the owner who gave us recommendations. Absolutely FANTASTIC! Great atmosphere- community focused and comfortable. The food portions are a wonderful value for the money... and shareable... or not... ha! The staff was very friendly and genuine. The cutest decor including fresh flowers on every table-a very nice touch! Food suggestions: - Reuben (killer, perfect ratio of corned beef to kraut, 1/2 lb, photo attached) - RoastBeef Sandwich (also very generous) - Potato Salad (mustard based, but very balanced if you aren't a mustard fan, creamydressing, chunky red taters, shareable portion) - Pasta Salad (seemed mustard based as well, balanced, green olives, pickledcelery, divine, shareable portion) - Macaroni and Cheese (amaaaaaaaazing, creamy cheese goodness, shareable portion) - ChocolateChip Cookie (words can't express- it's as if angels and unicorns may be involved, 3 of us shared it and THERE WAS STILL SOMELEFT, perfection) Go and visit and I hope you love it as much as we did! Unbelievable. The food was on point at the highest level. The Cubano is second to none outside of Miami. The drinks are also so... good.
