So let me start by saying, we have loved getting our pizza and boneless wings from NYPD for the past few years. They truly have... authentic NY style pizza, and their upstate wing flavor is unique, which I do appreciate. With all that said, we decided todine in tonight and had the absolute best experience with their staff. Everyone that we interacted with was good at their job,and seemingly liked what they do, which is a rare find today. Terrible pizza and salad. Not sure if it was because we went on a Friday night or not. But the salad tasted like it was made 12... hours ago. Our Sicilian also looked old and tasted raw in the middle. We also had an 8 inch personal pizza that looked like itwas just introduced to the oven. Read more
This place is just terrible. I remember 8 years ago I tried to apply here because my friend worked there, just to find out they... were talking trash about me and threw my application away. Remember asking the manager for a pen and she didn't give me onesaying "why would I hire someone who can't bring a pen to fill out applications." Don't worry I ended up getting a job at aplace that gave me a pen. Fast forward to now, the pizza I had here was just absolutely gross (should've been cooked longer tobe honest) and very disappointing cheese bread that was not cut too well. The 2 times I ever had contact with this cesspool of aplace was just terrible. First time was personal and second time just poor quality. I'm glad I never worked at this place anddefinitely will not eat there again. Excuse me while I hive Little Caesars a 5 star rating for just being genuine. Read more
NYPD is an excellent small chain. Top notch pizza sauce flavor, excellent crust and lots of cheesy goodness. Their sausage... topping is one of the best available anywhere. Their cheese knots are also very good. The pricing is higher than many NY styledpizzeria joints, but the consistency of flavor and excellent results each time keep me coming back. I've never come to NYPD andbeen disappointed in the taste or temperature of a pizza. I have not ventured out to try other items on their menu, so you areon your own if you veer away from the pizza pies. My favorite selection is the Brooklyn Family, which features pepperoni,sausage, and basil on a healthy bed of cheese. "Healthy" in that context is a euphemism for "a lot". :) Anyways, this locationis usually without a wait and while the preparation of the pizza can take 25 minutes, having a garlic cheese knot order to waitis an excellent choice Read more
