I had intense diarrhea on multiple occasions from Salad and Go. First few times I tried to give the benifit of the doubt... but... after it kept happening I began to wonder if the food is handled properly? They seem rushed and they seem to be busy with longlines. Also, I've noticed the tomatoes they use are expired because they are mushy and sour tasting... Please look into this andmaybe have special food handlers check this place. The salads taste amazing. Updated Review: I?m happy to see the serving sizes have returned to normal in my last few visits, adding to what I feel is a... good value for a salad at this price point. The taste is good and the ingredients are fresh as always. I?m happy to be able togive this place a good rating again. ??????- Old Review: I?ve been coming here almost daily for almost a year, and as of a fewweeks ago I noticed my salad?s weight getting lighter and I?m still hungry after eating. I always order double protein butlately double portions don?t seem as hefty as they used to be. The first few times I figured it was just a fluke but it?s beenthe same now for about 3 weeks. It wasn?t till today that I asked the cashier if their portion sizes have shrunk and sheconfirmed that they did make the scoop sizes smaller recently. I?m disappointed to learn this considering they just increasedtheir prices. I understand prices are going up for everything but if the portions go down at the same time, and a standard mealno longer fills me up, then I no longer have any incentive to choose this salad over any other. I?m sad to say I no longer feellike I?m getting a good deal for a good meal here. EDIT: In response to the store reply (thank you for your reply): I went tothe Val Vista and Pecos location as well, to see if their portions were any better. They weren?t - see image. I've been going to Salad and Go for years now. One of my favorite things to get is their breakfast burritos and I can't believe... how inexpensive they are! One of the big reasons I keep coming back. Also during lunch I do occasionally get their wraps and Ilike the fact that they can add additional chicken at my request. A great, fresh and crispy salad can be had at a great price with several different salad being made up. Great option when you... feel like cooking and also when you are foucusing on eating health and keepin fit. The salads are large and filling and can helpwith those trying to keep their weight down. Ordered chicken Caesar with tofu and no dressing with a cucumber lemonade. The lettuce and vegetables are always fresh and... savory in my opinion. The tofu and the chicken are well prepared and cooked to perfection. However the cucumber lemonade wasextremely sweet, I had to mix half of that with water. Read more
Let me start by saying that Addy, the young lady that took my order at the drive through was AWESOME! It was my first time... coming here so I had no idea what to get and she was patient, friendly, made suggestions and very professional. My husband gotthe BBQ chicken salad, I got the Summer Crunch, and both were amazing and filling. I also tried the chicken corn chowder which Ihope they always have because it was surprisingly tasty. The Mango tea my husband ordered did not have ANY sweetener which hedidn't like, but my cucumber mint lemonade was sooo good! I cant wait to have it again. It's also very affordable! Absolutely pathetic I order a BBQ chicken salad and some dumb employee can't even remember to put the dressing in the box or the... bag. It's not a hard job and yet there are employees that seems to struggle with a simple task. MAKE SURE YOU DOUBLE CHECK SINCEYOU CAN'T HAVE FAITH THAT THEY'LL DO THEIR JOB CORRECTLY. Read more
