I've been coming here for almost 27 years. They really lost touch doing the Reno on the restaurant. It's not a cozy truck stop... restaurant anymore. Why did they take out the lunch counters? I've been stopping here for 35 years because I knew I could always get a good meal...no fast food like the other clowns offer.... Now I can't get a good meal on a Tuesday afternoon? The only food available is 2...yes 2 nasty cheeseburgers in a hot case...nocondiments available but for ketchup and mustard. Shame on you K and H....I guess the customers you claim to care about don'treally matter that much to you after all. Used to love stopping here for a good meal. Nice truck stop, plenty of parking. But, now, who knows when the restaurant is open... or closed? Nothing posted showing hours, and was closed at 6pm on a Tuesday night. Trucking isn't a 9 to 5, your restaurantshouldn't be either. I'm going to have to stop elsewhere if I can't be certain there's going to be a meal available. TheC-store has almost nothing in it so that's not really a backup plan. Read more
Great service. Very clean for an older Travel Plaza. Restrooms are very clean. Prices are fair and K&H is worth stopping by. In... the mood for great food that brings back great memories, this is the place. Very happy I stopped. Read more
Nope it's not a 24/7 operation and the mom nd pops rarely were if your old enough to remember. If you want 24/7 go to the Pilot.... K+H locks up tight at 11p and the restaurant after dinner hours. It's a good "old" spot in my opinion. Read more
