Great cuisine add to Gilroy 1st Street local dinning shops. Looking for something healthier, this is the place. Well designed... open large spaces. We saw lots of take out orders as we sat waiting for our dishes. Be patient because on Thursday was busy withtake-out. Greek food is good. Felt like th restaurant is skimping on the amount of food that is added to plate because MorganHill serves larger portions. The chicken and lamb tastes delicious and has the authentic spices. French Fries are pretty wellcooked and the added spices are welcome. The hummus and yogurt dip for the chicken, lamb, and warm pita bread are creamy andtasty. We always need more the the yogurt dip for the meats. The classic Greek Salad was yummy; however, this place skimped onthe greek cheese and olives. Only small handful of olives and one piece of small greek saly cheese. We need more cheese cumbledon the salad. Hope the restaurants stop getting cheap on the dishes by serving smaller portions. I was so excited for this location open since I always have to go to Morgan Hill. But I?ve tried this place three different... times and every time my gyro tastes HORRIBLE. It just taste like plain salt, it has no flavor. Such a huge disappointment. I?mhoping they get it right soon, I?m gonna try again in a few months. But until then it looks like I?m gonna have to go to MorganHill. Read more

Here is what I personally like about NTG: great ingredients, good portions, friendly service, fast online ordering. Here is... what makes me reconsider whether I want to continue giving them my business: they have this really bad practice of automaticallyadding a tip when you order online. I understand that the customer can manually override the tip they add, but why is it anautomatic charge? If I order online to take out, and if I pick up my own order, why should I pay a tip? For what service? Itis deceiving to automatically add a 15% tip on online orders. Tips are fine if a customer eats in and if service is providedinside the restaurant to an acceptable level, but to charge tips for take-out orders is wrong. The issue here is that if therestaurant chain wants customers to tip the kitchen staff then they are not taking good care of their own kitchen employees andI for one would not want to patronize their business any more. Love the food at the others I've been to (Morgan Hill, San Jose, Redwood City). I wanted to love the Gilroy location, but they... just aren't covid safe. I walked in and of four staff members, the woman at the register wasn't wearing a mask correctly (noseexposed) and one of the other staff was unmasked. In a non-Pandemic era, I'm sure it would be a great place. As it is, Iwouldn't even door dash the place until they right the ship. Read more
