Took a friend here for their birthday. The food was amazing, the service was great, and the atmosphere was interesting but... comfortable at the hibachi. After we were done eating, they found out it was her birthday and came out with the whole team and adrum to sing her a happy birthday and dance. Cute and fun! Read more
The Food is great and comparable to any large city Japanese restaurant. A treat in any small town like Glasgow. The service... could definitely be improved with a friendly staff. Not really rude just no smiles and seemed like they'd rather be fishing lol.The hibachi cook was super noisy banging the utensils attempting to make some sort of music. Strange and very loud. It keptgoing on and on to the point of us wanting to be re-seated. The great food makes up for the mediocre service and atmosphere.Will retun for sure. Read more
Good restaurants are hard to find in this general area. So finding such an outstanding Hibachi style restaurant is an absolute... treasure. The service was quick. The food was done surprisingly good with a unique touch to each type of meat. I don?t say thislightly that I had the BEST salmon hibachi anywhere! Perfection! The prices are on the lower end for top shelf entrees but thetaste, quality and quantity were all outstanding. Drinks were a bit high but very tasty Japanese Koolaid per my wife. So glad tohave found a place I will for sure be back to for special occasions and occasional lunch treats. It was my first visit but sovery satisfied. I left with already a taste for more. Every single time I have called in sushi they get it wrong. Not 1,2,3 but at least 4 to 5 times. And I explain it every time.... Your probably thinking I get something crazy. You ready. A salmon roll x 2. Thats it. They can not get it even if I explain onthe phone. If I want sushi I will have to go in and order. Great food. Extremely nice people. Read more
The chef was awesome his name was Jackson and he not only put on a great show but he was also a great cook. The server on the... other hand took drink orders from the other two couples who were seated at our hibachi but completely ignored us and walkedaway. I ordered a super combo for 2 but we only got a combo for 1 and my wife got no meat. Luckily she also ordered a geishasushi roll or she would've not had anything to eat. Otherwise the Bahama mama she ordered had absolutely no taste of alcohol init and tasted like a virgin even though we ordered the alcoholic Bahama mama. The service is pretty horrendous. Most tables got up to get their own straws, bowls, napkins, etc. They could have been short... staffed, but the restaurant doesn?t seem to get too busy during the week days. The food is great. The Bento Box is the bestdeal. It was delicious. Yum yum sauce is the best. Read more
My personal opinion is this restaurant has declined terribly. When JR was the manager, the store was always clean, the staff was... always on top of the service and the food was delicious. My last experience, my husband and me at lunch and sat at the sushibooth. A roach crawled up the wall. Tiffany, the now manager took a service tray and squashed it and walked away. Our order hadalready been placed and we were eating our soup and salad and saw the cook in the kitchen eating from the food he was preparing.When our food came out, my potatoes were barely warm, the noodles were hard and the steak tasted like soap. Not a pleasantexperience for us. We now go to the Bowling Green location. 10 times better down there Read more
