I am not sure why it has taken me this long to write a review. I have been visiting King's Cafe since it opened several years... ago. It continues to be my absolute favorite coffee shop in Glasgow. I have been to MANY coffee shops and King's is among thetop in quality, price, service, atmosphere, and timeliness. Not to mention, the owner is one of the best people you will evermeet. Definitely check out the secret menu options - my favorites are the Butterbeer and Birdwell lattes. Read more
My first time at this coffee shop today (4/9/22) and I loved it, the coffee??was delicious. I got the regular brew with a shot... of coconut????and I also got a blueberry????muffin, so good ???? I had no clue it was in Glasgow, I Googled coffee shops andfound it. I love the atmosphere and the decor and it's very roomy. I will definitely be going back. Read more
I took my daughter here after she got her driving permit. I told the server that we were celebrating. He just kind of shrugged... it off. We got a drink and a muffin each. He got the drinks but forgot about the muffins. The Cafe atmosphere is nice. Differentstyles of sitting arrangements ranging from leather and cloth couches, to hard back chairs to bar stools. The decor is kind ofcool. The wall of records is a great touch. I could have given another star but service and attitude make the experience for meand on July 7, 2021; both were sorely lacking. I like coffee, but don't drink religiously. My lady hates coffee with a passion. Therefore we compromise and get smoothies and... chai. I'll sneak a latte if I'm not going to see her until the aroma is gone. Haven't met anyone here that hasn't been friendlyand professional. Drinks are great. But most of all, I rate this place 5* for the THICC straws they provide for the smoothies. Idon't have time to mess around trying to suck my icy beverage out of a coffee stirrer. And that one couch that I just sink intowhen I sit in it. Read more
