Hey-------This was my first time back to Friendly's after being moved & gone from this area, and my hometown of Glassboro, N.J.,... for almost, and a little over 36-yrs! Just moved back home here during the first week of June of this year, and and very glad &excited at the same time, to finally be back home, and hitting all of my former, and now current eating places, that I've missedall of these years! I went to breakfast this morning and was a little disappointed in my breakfast. The food was not very good. And two of the... things I ordered I did not like. The server notified me that she could?ve taken them off my check after I paid. Even after Ivocalized my dissatisfaction. There are always fly?s in this restaurant when I go. It is just like the Friendly's I grew up and took my own family to years later. Many of the signature dishes are named the same.... The food was fresh and served hot. The staff was very accommodating! Read more
Food here has become way to expensive. My favorite appetizer were the mozzarella sticks. You changed them and they are horrible.... The ice cream taste like a cheaper brand. Won?t be going back here again. Read more
Great super melt sandwiches, restaurant feels a little dated, needs a remodel but hosts were friendly and service was fast!
my friend and i waited 40 minutes for ice cream. server took 10 minutes to take our order and an extra 20 minutes to give us the... check too, no apology or anything about the wait. There was a total of like 7 tables in the restaurant and 2 servers on. Ourserver never came around to check on us or anything like a usual server would, she was actually nowhere to be found for those 40minutes i didn?t even see her leave the kitchen or check on anyone else. also it takes like a good 10 minutes to get seated hereas well. Decided to get breakfast at Frendly's for the first. Greeted and served by Mya. Not very busy at this time of the morning.... Great atmosphere, friendly staff (pun intended). Christmas music playing in the background, perfect for the season. Food camerelatively fast, and was delicious. I ordered the Bacon and Egg Supermelt with home fry potatoes. Had a great experience.
