It was a bit of a wait for a walk in order but nothing unexpected considering it was around lunch time. Staff was very... friendly. This is my first visit since the change of owners. Due to an issue on Doordash's listing (not Goodfella's mistake) two of the salads we ordered were missing chicken. The owner ( I... am assuming it was him) was so nice and offered to bring us the chicken that was missing. Above that, the food is always good,the portions are awesome and it's quick. Pretty good neighborhood deli serving up some pretty darn good sandwiches. Went inside to pickup and was pleased to see a clean... interior with sanitizing station. Super friendly staff as well. We ordered the cheese hoagie, farmers market sandwich, and tatertots. The hoagie has the perfect ratio of cheeses and LTO. The Farmers market is delicious, the sundried tomato makes it. A day for drinking and cheesesteaks ended taking our Goodfella?s Cheesesteak to Wilmington Brew Works. I saw Cheesesteak... Italiano on the menu. It is an Italian Deli. This deli has it all! I couldn't really think of another way to begin my review, I've been there 3 days in a row now to try and... get a taste of everything I wanted. I couldn't in all honesty give this less than 5 stars. Let's start with the customerservice, both gentlemen and the last chef were all very friendly! On the phone and in house they were polite and welcoming. It'sa small little shop on a busy little corner, but don't let that fool you. The food was all fantastic! I ordered...a cheesesteak, a meatball sandwich, a cheese burger, and chicken tenders. All of them were great! The burger was fresh, roll was toastedhow I like it. The cheese steak, was delicious. The chicken tenders weren't anything special but still, some right and tastedgood. Where it really pushed through for me was in the fries! Easily the best, traditional fries in town, and I've eaten themall... Literally. However, the MVP of it all... The meatball sandwich. This isn't "a few meatballs and some bread" we aretalking a solid 5-7 good size meatballs, cut into smaller bite size pieces that filled the roll. I wish the roll was toasted...But I was not disappointed, as EVERY bite had meatball to accompany the bread. Also not a fan of when meatballs and sauce leaveyou tremendous heartburn? I've got nothing! Which compared to the 5 or 6 other places I've tried leave me feeling horribleafterwards. The one thing I really want to hit home, and the thing that will really sell this place to a lot of people, is theprice. You can't beat it. I was looking for a place to get a corned beef sandwich. I didn't want to go to Subway or any of the other chain places around... Glassboro. This place came up on my Google Maps so I thought I would give it a try. Great sandwich lots of meat. A really goodsandwich to order is the New York Reuben sandwich. It was really good was a combination of Swiss, coleslaw, and pastrami.Although the pastrami was not as good as pastrami you would get at New York or Philly, it was better than getting something atSubway or Jimmy John's. I'll probably go back to this place and order something else to see if it's as good as the pastramisandwich was. Read more
