First time trying out Playa Bowl & probably the last. I had purchased the Coco Power Bowl thinking it'll be as advertised. To my... expectations, I was wrong. It was a mushy mess that tasted disgusting to the point I threw it out. Complete waste of $13. Thecashier can't even spell your name correctly and they expect a tip from you for standing at a register. Read more

Day 1: I am travelling for work with cash and I work over night. I stopped in the Glassboro location to break my 48hr fast... (hours are 9am-10pm) at 9:00pm placed order and was told they were not accepting cash as they were counting the register. Theygave me the bowl for free and I left them a 20, it nice they gave the bowl but it will make my point later. After I placed myorder a father and daughter come in, they order a bowl proceed to pull out cash and be told they are not accepting cash becausethey are counting. This gentleman was not happy. He reluctantly paid with card and when asked to fill out the screen he slammedthe NO tip option and left the rest of screen empty for the worker to then deal with. Day 2: Thinking about the night prior Ipreemptively set my alarm to wake up 40minuntes early to hopefully beat them closing the register at 9pm as they did the nightprior. Unfortunately for them this time I called at 8:40pm to see if they had closed register and they said they were not takingcash as it had already been counted. **Disclosure I say unfortunately because it then allowed me time to write this review, instead of enjoying a Coco bowl before I start my 16hour over night shift. Not to slander but to hopefully catch some attentionto correct this issue.** Mind you I'm traveling for work, I'm on a weight loss journey trying to eat healthy, and work overnight. This isn't very easy to do in the comfort of your own home let alone in another state. Moral of the review PlayaBowl: Is if your open untill 10pm all forms of payment are accepted. Cash is legal tender and accepted world wide. If your openfor business you should be accepting cash. Especially this day in time where times are tough and you don't know what someone isgoing through. They may not be in a position financially to have credit cards or maybe they don't have an iPhone with apple pay. Also you should be taking cash as now your turning away revenue for the company. You keep turnin Read more

Customer Service varies by location but the bowls are always good. Not all locations know how to make the coffee correctly, the... coffee is a concentrate that if not cut right can be too strong. Read more

Outstanding smoothie shop and 'bowls', I have no clue as to what a bowl is ???? Counter help was good as they pointed me in the... right direction of what I wanted. Warning, do not compliment them on anything, they take it personally. Despite this clip inservice, and they need larger serving sizes, they are 1st class smoothie shop. Enjoy! Read more
