I went there on a Wednesday for lunch take out. I got the Poutine lunch special (which I could only find online, not in store)... and a cup of chili. The chili was ok, but nothing special. I'd rather not have spent the $5. The Poutine was an "American"take on the dish, as there weren't any cheese curds which was a big disappointment for me personally. In place of cheese curdsthey use melted cheddar. It had a surprising amount of meat on it in big chunks (maybe brisket?). I thought maybe that wouldmake up for the disappointment with the lack of cheese curds. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. The flavor of the meat wasgood, but it was incredibly dry, almost as if it was yesterday's leftovers. The texture of it was splintery and came off insplinters as I chewed. I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately it's not somewhere I'll be going back to. Theprices are fairly high to begin with, so that on top of the mediocre to bad food is a definite miss in my books. Read more
