Capri has legit some of the most authentic NYC style pizza in the area. Great crust, sauce that's neither too sweet nor too... acidic and tasty toppings. The white pizza is just buttery goodness and keeps you coming back. The flavors are just perfectlybalanced so if you're looking for a noticeably sweet or spicy pie, this ain't for you. This is just simple honeststraightforward good za just as good as any local Pizzeria you'd find in The City. The establishment is as a regular corner store pizza looks like. This rating has nothing to do with the workers and/or... experience and strictly on the food. My boyfriend and I wanted Philly cheesesteak, so we came here since it was still opened.We got two cheesesteaks and a cheesecake(one slice). We get home, and opened up to a small bag of fries (like a kids happy mealportion) and to what looked like a submarine sandwich. The veal parm was quite good, slightly under salted for my taste, but very well balanced. The Italian is reminiscent of a Jimmy... John's Italian sub with the real mustard but with quality ingredients. As a sub lover, I will probably be visiting here moreregularly. Read more
What a great sandwich! I got the Philly cheese steak with lettuce tomato mayonnaise onions provolone cheese. It was amazing! It... was even amazing after it had to sit for 20 minutes before I picked it up which was my fault not theirs. I'm going back hereevery chance I get! Read more
I've been here before for pizza and didn't like it so much. I remember thinking it didn't have much flavor. Tonight, my husband... wanted a cheesesteak so we gave that a try. We called to place the order but, twice, no one answered. It's close so we drovethere. He also got slice of cheese pizza and a slice of sausage pizza. I got garlic knots. After paying and waiting in theshop for our food maybe 10 minutes, the guy who took our order asked us what we ordered. ???? We reminded him and then under aminute he called us to say it was ready. The garlic knots were all turned upside down to hide the fact that they were burnt. ???? My husband likes extra toasted bread but wasn't a big fan. He didn't like the cheesesteak or the pizza. Maybe this was abad night....but I'm done giving out chances. They were friendly upon entering, while taking the order and wished us a goodnight. They seemed busy, so someone must like it. Read more
Well I got a little hungry and really didn?t want a fast food hamburger so we stopped at Capri Pizza & Sub !!! So so happy I... did!! My Turkey bacon sub was fantastic!! Toasted just perfectly?. with all the trimmings!! My salad (side) looks fresh andwill be a great snack before dinner !! Love their homemade house Italian dressing !! One of my co-workers recommended this little gem. We ordered Fettuccine Alfredo dinner and Chicken Parm dinner. Both came with... side salads with a house dressing and bread. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and she was kind enough to add anadditional order of Fettuccine Alfredo on the house! Everything was delicious- that house dressing was amazing. I was in search of a good Sicilian Pizza and Capri was recommended. It turned out to be exactly what I was thinking about. The... crust had the right amount of crunch and the right amount of soft, airy dough. We did a full order mushrooms on 1/2 and therest plain cheese. Perfect! Read more
