The food was outstanding and dessert was amazingly delicious if I lived here I would be a regular. I have to say if in the area... and have a desire for a bite of Mexican food it's a must. We have seen this restaurant hundred of times while driving to and from BWI airport. We finally decided to pass by and try it... out. We ordered some fajitas and the shrimp and scallops meal with rice, guacamole and sour cream with some hot flour tortillas.The food was good and the rice was very flavorful. Would I eat here again probably not as this is typical American Mexicanrestaurant. Nothing stands out. They had great service. Read more
Everything about Los Portales was great for my visit. I was immediately seated with a large group, and the place was packed. ... As soon as we weren't seated we were given chip and salsa and offered a drink. We were also met with the house specials andhappy hour brief/drinks available, which is awesome... Most of the time you have to ask. I ate tacos, burritos and tried thechicken quesadilla. All of the food was amazing, I asked for a hotter sauce and they gave me a great hot sauce full of spiceand flavor. Throughout my visit the waiter was on point and always asking about refills and when needed it was there quick fastand in a hurry. Overall great food, great service and great drinks. I ate here today. The staff was pleasant and efficient, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was enjoyable, and who does not... like free chips and salsa while they wait. Overall, it was a great experience and if I am ever in the area again, I would notmind eating here again. Read more
