Went here with coworkers on a Friday and they were already packed at 12pm! Service was a bit slow but its probably because they... just opened. But the food made up for it! Food was excellent! All 6 people in my party loved their bowl! The broth was soflavorful and rich and creamy! I will def return to this place. This is better than most ramen places I?ve been to. Read more

EVERYTHING was good. Not the best ramen I?ve had, but definitely competing for the top spot in Maryland. Customer service was... amazing! Pork buns definitely the unexpected highlight for me. Ordered: Melon soda, gyoza, pork buns and spicy miso Cons:limited seating; All pork everything, at least the day I went. Hate eating pork, but I drove too far to not get anything. It wasdelicious but I felt sick afterwards ??????????????? Read more

Our first time visiting this place and my first time ever having ramen. We will definitely be back to try everything else on the... menu. Service was quick and friendly and the food was fantastic. I had the black tonkotsu and my wife had the regular tonkotsuand we split the pork buns. It gets busy quick and I can definitely taste why! Read more

I first want to point out that this is in fact, behind the gas station. This Ramen shop was amazing. The staff was friendly and... helpful. The Soju was cold and always get the peach. The pork buns were stuffed full of tender pork and it was the perfect mixof salty and sweet. We ordered two bowls of Tonkotsu. I ordered an extra of corn. The broth was hearty, the perfect balance. Thenoodles and toppings were plentiful and feeling full never felt better. I highly recommend anyone stop in here for a meal. Youwill never be disappointed. Read more

Glad they had the sign out on the main road as we weren't sure where the restaurant was! But followed the sign and found it... easily! Not crowded when we first got there but it filled up quickly afterward. Waitress was very helpful explaining the menu. I had the sumai and dumplings and my friend had the black truffle noodle bowl with added pork. I was surprised how goodeverything was as I didn't know what to expect. We spoke to the couple sitting at the next table who explained a few of theitems also.... we're going to try what they had when we go back....yes, it was so good we're going back before we leave thearea!! Very good ramen! Gyoza was really good as well as the pork buns. Will definitely visit again! Would give 5 stars but had an... issue the last time I visited. Arrived over an hr before closing and was told that no one else would be seated that evening. Also, called for a take out order and was told it would take an hr for the order to be ready. I have eaten Ramen in Japan plenty of times and have frequented various Ramen shops in DC. With that being said, their Ramen... was delicious and priced right at $12.95 a bowl. The vibe even matches many Ramen shops in Japan. The best thing of all is youdon't have to fight DC traffic and parking to get a meal. Come and try this place out if you like ramen! Read more

Second trip: I came here a second time with my coworker who enjoys ramen. I ordered black tonkatsu ramen and coworker ordered ... miso ramen. The Black tonkatsu ramen got better than previously. Noodles were cooked better and flavor were deeper. I candefinitely say that this ramen house is the best in all of DMV. Based on my experience this establishment is a master in theirdomain. I would definitely be coming back if they can expand to soy or seafood based ramens. Intial impressions: I wasinitially super hesitant to come here based on pictures alone. It's not the traditional Japanese ramen that I wanted but thisestablishment still created an extremely delicious ramen. From my discussion with the owner, I found out the owners are Koreanbut studied in Japan. I can already tell that there is a lot of Korean influence in this ramen which I thoroughly appreciated.Everything is made from scratch. From the noodles, broth, and charsu. They even use imported Japanese flour to create thenoodles. Those unfamiliar to the flour world, flour milling process is different per country. This difference is visible in theend result (noodle). We got the spicy tonkatsu ramen and black tonkatsu ramen. The tonkatsu broth had extreme depth and coatedmy mouth with a clean and porky flavor. The noodles are made here daily. It starts from scratch in which they use importedJapanese flour . The noodles do a great job of being able to hold the broth flavors as you eat. The chashu wasn't thetraditional soy based but more of a Korean influence using miso/bean paste. The chashu was flavorful and cooked toperfection. Overall impression, I can tell that this establishment genuinely cares for the product that they make. They makeramen from the cradle to the grave and look to push ramen to the next level. At $13 per bowl, there is great value here. Read more
