We've been customers of LaVicharra for many years and enjoy the food very much. That being said, this place is one poorly run... business; several times they've been out of chicken (we generally order around 5:00-5:30), then you have to hope to get on thephone, if the phone is answered at all, seemingly the only person that speaks English. It's become a joke in our household thatwhen you call you hope they have chicken; today they did, if you were willing to wait another hour and a half (though we had tocall twice after being put on hold and not picked up again)....we ordered Sushi elsewhere. This restaurant was and is absolutely amazing! Yes, it?s small but The service is humbling and sweet. And server (she) is very... attentive and the way she is truly reminds me of Peru! Now the food?is very delicious!! There?s not a lot of places that canpull off Peruvian food but this place I can say can definitely pull of the traditional foods! Definitely worth going! Amazing little place you will go back to once you try it.
This review is for the restaurant on 72 School St. I went there for the first time a few days back and could not decide what to... get. The owner, Pilar, was so patient and helpful! I got the 1/2 Pollo Solo (rotisserie chicken) and it was DELICIOUS! Veryflavorful and tender. Going back to try more food for sure! FIVE STARTS!!!! Read more
