We were the guests of some friends at a birthday party. The food was delicious and the service was A+. We particularly enjoyed... the hors d'oeuvres and the clam chowder soup. I have dined at The View Grill three times in the last two weeks, each time,bringing three different friends with me to... introduce them to this wonderful place.The food is superb, the servers are so friendly and personable , and we were delightedto meet chef-owner Jeanine. The view is breathtaking. Even the dinnerware is beautiful. Attended birthday party in a private room. With 30 guests food arrived hot, bacon crispy. Salmon moist, delicious sauce. But... kudos to the attentive, kind, thoughtful staff. They couldn’t have been nicer. One waitstaffer saw me wrapping cookies in apaper napkin. “0h no,” she said.” “I’ll get you some foil!” At another point she arrived with take home containerswhen she saw the need. My fiance and I hosted a pre-wedding get-together for about 90 guests at the View Grill this past weekend and everything was... absolutely perfect! We worked with Fred leading up to the day and he was always helpful and very responsive. He was alsoextremely flexible as we had to postpone twice due to COVID. He let us personalize the event to our needs (e.g., bringing inlawn games, inviting a guitarist, setting up centerpieces) and charged us only for the guests who actually arrived on the day.The food was delicious, the view was beautiful, and the waitstaff/bartender were friendly and attentive. The absolute best !! We celebrated my mother's birthday, and it couldn't have been any better. When I first called to make the... reservation, the woman that answered the phone (I think her name was Cathy) was so sweet and accommodating. My dad is in awheelchair, and she made sure our table was perfect for him. We were a party of 10. The waiter Eddie was attentive and sohelpful with everything and anything we needed. We had a Sunday afternoon brunch menu and the food was amazing, as usual Jeanineoutdid herself. My friend Lisa and I went on Saturday afternoon October 29 for lunch. What beautiful day it was. It was my 2nd time there and... her first. We sat inside and had a great view. What they are know for.
