Very frustrating experience (usually not the case when we come here). I ordered two pick 6 boxes to go and they only gave me 9... out of the 12 custards. That?s $36 of custard and they left 3 half pints out. I had to wait at the counter outside for 5 minutes(after taking 5 minutes in the drive-thru for them to understand my order in the first place) to get the other 3 (of which I hadto take each one out and try to remember what I ordered - ending up forgetting one flavor). They were unapologetic and didn?t doanything additional to make it right. Typically a manager would address this situation, but they stayed back. For a company thatcharges what they do, you would think their service and ability to make things right would be much better. Disappointingexperience to say the least. ** Update: I called and spoke with the manager. She was very apologetic and offered to make up forit next time we come to Andy?s. I appreciate her taking responsibility and doing what was needed to make things right. Read more
My kids love this place. It's a great drive through ice cream shop. There is a small space with a few benches to eat there. We... used it once but take out is the way to go if you eat here. They have a pretty good selection of unique frozen treats and I'venever been dissatisfied with anything I've ordered. Read more
Yummy, chocolate custard was rich and velvety. Drive thru and walk up available with some outdoor seating. Staff well trained... and efficient. Turtle Sunday flavorful with the salty pecans and hot fudge. Small is quite large. We will definitely return. Read more
Great frozen custard spot right on Roosevelt road in glen Ellyn. They offer counter and drive through service. Tons of different... options like concretes, shakes, malts, sundaes. Staff is very friendly. Whole place has a fun 50s vibe. Lots of outdoor seatingto relax and enjoy yourself. Glass window in front of the custard machine is fun to watch while you are waiting. Love Andy?s! It?s not easy, but I don?t go very often - I just can?t. But oh how I wish I could. It is so darn good. And you... want to know what else is great at this Andy?s in Glen Ellyn? The kids who work there. Andy?s either goes out of their way tohire the right candidates, or their training is spot on?or both. I?ve had nothing but exceptional (and fun!) service. Tried this place for the very first time and it was decadent. Got triple chocolate in a small and it was more than enough for... two people to share. Very rich in chocolate flavor. Will definitely have to come back and try other non chocolate flavors. Theirservice was also very quick and no lines at all. Read more
You can't get frozen custard like this anywhere else. Super creamy and flavorful but not too heavy either. I got the turtle... sundae and the saltiness of the pecans works so well with the sweet custard. Great spot for a quick treat Read more
I love Andys! I think is by far the best ice cream spot in the suburbs, my go to is the snow monster which is pretty much... perfection in a cup, if you?re feeling like having a lot of sugar make it a jackhammer to add more chocolate fudge in thecenter.
