This bakery and Cafe is hands down one of the best places I have been to on Long Island for coffee and pastries. The drinks are... delicious and taste amazing. The cookies (salted chocolate chip cookie especially), are addictive. Not to mention the hibiscusiced tea is super refreshing on hot summer days. My toddler loves all of the biscuits and scones as well. We will always comeback, especially since it is clear the staff is paid well and extremely valued. Read more
Wow what a treat. Totally adorable location, delicious pastries. We got a whole loaf of sourdough which was delicious, a scone,... cinnamon bun, and some delicious strawberry basil strudel thing. All top tier. We also ordered two salads (Caesar and Spring)and a veggie sandwich. The salads were huge and super fresh. We didn?t try any but the cocktail list and wine list are superthought out. I'm a transplant from Brooklyn and this cafe feels straight out of Brooklyn. The decor and vibe are gorgeous, the pastries and... breads have both your standby classics as well as some really unique, rotating recipes. I'm particularly in love with the giantblueberry scone. The savory food is also delicious. I had the breakfast burrito and really enjoyed it. This will be my go-tospot! Read more
Bakery, Bar and Restaurant. Flourish is an all around gem. The space is bright, clean and contemporary. The service is friendly.... The food is fresh and fantastic. I ended up going for breakfast 2 days in a row while home visiting. The Breakfast Sandwich issolid, but the breakfast burrito is pretty fantastic. I also enjoyed the currant and rosemary scone. You can?t go wrong. Isupport the ?controversial? equity fee. There are signs and disclaimers on the website, on the door upon entering and on thecounter next to the registers. They aren?t hiding it. I think it?s great that they are establishing a fair living wage for theiremployees. I look forward to being a repeat customer and trying most everything. Read more
We?ve been enjoying treats from the Bakery Lady (pre Flourish) when she had a stand at the local farmers market. We are so... excited that we can now have these incredible baked goods in our lives all the time. Plus, the food, coffee, and ambiance aregreat. Chelsea and her team has done a beautiful job in this new cafe! The food and drinks are delicious and the members of the team... are so friendly and accommodating. I?m seeing some of the reviews say that they don?t think the equity charge is fair but Ibelieve it to be reasonable and justified. Some reviews have also said that they weren?t aware when it?s actually on theirwebsite and right by the cashier so it would be hard to miss.. please give them a chance! You won?t be disappointed!! I have been blown away by the coffee, pastries, staff and overall ambience/design of this place. Glen Head/North Shore needs a... spot like this! My kids and their friends love coming here and I'm just grateful that Chelsea chose this as her location. The barista was really nice. I got 3 cookies (14.99): birthday cake (3.50), choc chip (3.50), and ginger molasses (4.50). They... all tasted good but they were all pretty hard, even after I tried to reheat them at home. I do want to go back to try the otherbaked goods but I think I'll stick to making my own cookies, which seem to stay out too long in bakeries and get hard. Read more
