I've been here a few times over the years. I think today is my last. Food is fine. Nothing to bring me back. The place wants to... be high end and cute but is getting run down a bit and needs a refresher. Service was meh. I kept having to ask for simplecondiments that should be on a table. My main issue this time was cleanliness. There was mold in our water decanter. Severalspots throughoutnthe bottle and floating in the water. And it looked like my friends teapot hadn't been cleaned out before theyput her tea bag in. I brought the water mold to the waitresses attention. She didn't seemed to care or get what i was sayingabout it. No apology. We will be looking for a new brunch spot. Read more

Soooo good! The brûlée waffle is a sugar bomb but very delicious.

Had brunch here twice- food is good but service is just “meh”. Understanding that times are tough for the restaurant... business and there are staffing issues, but we were there 45 minutes before getting our appetizer. Our bill was incorrect bothtimes dining here. Server was obviously overwhelmed. We enjoy the truffle fries, donuts, short rib hash… but space is verytight and noisy. It is clear that whoever is making the food cares a lot about the detail and the menu... overall is full of home runs… especially the tacos even the salads are truly amazing and original. The service here is verybad, it feels like nobody cares and there doesn’t seem to be much management or direction. the food is good enough to make mecome back again despite the bad service for what it’s worth. This place needs better promotion and service I mean they havealcohol.. great part of town, beautiful inside if this was my place… some intelligent marketing and a proper manager wouldsolve it all. A friend and I decided to do brunch here one morning. The restaurant is super cute and trendy and somewhat of a hidden gem. I... like to look up the menu before I visit, as well as pictures of food items on Instagram. Although the food looked veryappealing, it was much the opposite. My friend ordered French toast with a side of bacon. The French toast was so sweet shecould not finish it, and the bacon extremely greasy. Not a fan of the fried chicken and waffle. The chicken was so dry, burnt and bitter. Even the powdered sugar couldn’t cover... the burnt. Surprised this would actually served to a customer. Never got our coffee orders as well. I ordered fish tacos and gotshrimp tacos instead. Read more

Highly recommend Benedict ???? Burger was delicious too. I would not recommend fresh squeezed orange juice. It tastes as juice... from the bottle. Read more

Avenue Kitchen was a great surprise for us. We had planned to go to Not Your Average Joe's, but timing wise we were cutting it... close, so canceled and picked a time for this wonderful place. Were greeted by the host with a great smile and were led to ourtable, and shortly after our waitress came over Was kind and pleasant. Our appetizer was warm goat cheese with jam, and whatseemed like garlic toast and the two together was extremely good. My entrée was the black salmon w spinach, and creamy risotto, Dawn had the brisket tacos, also very good, dessert cider doughnuts for me, and Dawn had the butter cake.
