I?ve been here twice so far since it?s opened and I really want to like it, it could be so good if done right. However both... times the sandwich has been so sloppily put together. The cheese melted completely off the sandwich causing the wrapper to stickto the food, the eggs not on the bagel more like a large omelet put inside the bagel and so greasy the bagel was soaking wet.Disappointed both times. Spread ? you are a gift to Glen Eagle and I love your bagels. But? every single time I get sandwiches here, at least one bagel... has a mistake. Here are my recommendations. 1. At the register, the person taking the order should read it back to the ordererto make sure they got everything. 2. After the bagels are done, someone should give them all a final ?does this match thereceipt?? check before they are wrapped up. You guys are on the path to becoming a big time restaurant staple in this area ?but messing up orders is one of the things that will keep folks from coming back. Or maybe not ? we are definitely going to keepcoming back and will probably start opening all the bagels in the store to double check them. Excellent fresh baked bagels. Great sandwiches. It's become part of our routine to stop on the weekend, grab a breakfast... sandwich and then bagels for the week. My favorite is the sesame. How do they get those little seeds to stick. Read more

I love this place; however, the spread on any bagel I order is always overflowing and a mess. Why? Maybe so they can charge more... ( super-sized)? Whatever the reason, I don't like it, and it's enough of a problem that myself and others I know think twiceabout going there, even though the bagels themselves are great. Today, as in the past, the plastic wrapper covering my bagelwith turkey bacon and cheese was fused into the melted cheese on the bagel. Upon removing the wrapper from the bagel, pieces ofthe wrapper wouldn't come off the bagel, like gum on the sidewalk only in my bagel. I had to cut it out, at least all I couldsee. We've been wanting a bagel place this direction for a while so I'm bummed we didn't like Spread. The bagels are good quality but... they don't have a great selection. They were out of multiple cream cheeses but didn't know that when I ordered. The chai lattewas just okay. The kicker is the price though, it's super expensive but not worth that extra cost. My god this sandwich was good! The Fritatta Scramble on a wheat everything bagel.. then I added scallion cream cheese. Half of... this kept me very full from 10am to 3pm (which is rare for this hungry girl) & the other half reheated just as wonderfully thenext morning ???? We learned that the COO is currently helping out as their head dishwasher while they work on bringing in newemployees & he could not have been more kind while we were there. The bagels here are definitely different from other places in the area. They are fresh and wood oven baked which gives them a... different profile. It's worth the experience to try a bagel sandwich. The sandwich was decent and I'm interested in trying itor another one again. Cons:The cost of a breakfast sandwich and coffee were pretty pricey and my la Colombe coffee leftsomething to be desired.
