This place caters to whiteness. People of color beware. My husband and I have been dining at Fitzgerald for the last 7 years. As... a Salvadoran & Mexican, we haven?t ever felt super welcome, but the food and drinks are edible and acceptable. My fiance and I just had our rehearsal dinner of 38 people in the private room last Saturday night and it was phenomenal! I have... to say I was a little nervous at first with some of the reviews but the night could not have gone smoother. We hadfamily/friends calling us for days after the event saying how nice it was. The room fit 5 tables of 6-10 guests comfortably withthe bar and they even set up tables for us to put bridal part gifts and dessert on. Not to mention they are SUPER reasonablewith pricing for a private room entirely to yourself, especially when compared to similar places in the area. The bartenderKelly was amazing- SO attentive, she even came around to the tables while people were eating to see if anyone wanted anotherdrink and at the end of the night a few guests wanted espresso martinis and she went out to the main bar to have them be madefor them. The food was also AMAZING, people could not get over how good the food was and there was more than enough of thepassed apps for everyone. We brought in our own decor and they were super helpful with set up/breakdown and although they werecleaning up at the end of our party, we never felt rushed out of the room. If you want an intimate gathering of 30-50 people andgreat food I would recommend Fitzgerald's to anyone in a heart beat! Read more
The food was very good the atmosphere casual the servers very attentive. All in all a really good evening.
I can not give anything less than a 5 Star review here. I went to go see my long term friend and Chef, Jef there and instead... met the bartender and a few of the servers who were awesome, polite and extremely friendly. They made me feel as if I beengoing to eat and drink there for years even though it was my first visit. I had a Victory Prima Pils which is one of myfavorite beers and also the Teriyaki Wings. Those wings could have fooled me for Legs and Thighs. LOL. All in All, it wasworth the 1.5 hour drive from Hunterdon County to try this place. Read more
Family style restaurant with great service and friendly staff! I stopped in for dinner and I was truly impressed. Started with... mushroom soup which was delicious, had the Fitzgerald's burger and Asian style wings. Highly recommend this place. Read more
Fun and cozy for a private party, the Side Car at Fitzgerald's provides great food and attentive service.
