My wife and I celebrated our 10th anniversary here and I was pleasantly surprised! The place was charming and the staff was very... friendly greeting us with a champagne toast for our anniversary. The food was the real star. We got the 3 course pre fixe menuand each item was incredible. I got the pumpkin soup and braised short rib (pictured) and it was one of the best meals I haveever had. Had an amazing party for my mom’s 80th birthday. Food was fresh and cooked to perfection! Homemade deserts were... incredible…cheesecake brownie with melted chocolate on top, lemon cheesecake bites, oatmeal raisin & chocolate chip cookies,carrot cake with cheesecake filled center…amazing. Drinks were excellent sangria pitchers, martinis, and excellent cocktails. Anything I requested they were more than willing to help out with. Had lunch here twice. Thoroughly enjoyed my menu selection of piggy fries during my first visit. During my second visit I... thought the menu selection was pretty limited. What a fantastic find! A menu like this in a gorgeous old town! I had the duck, she had the steak! I’ve had duck at many... fine restaurants, this was the best. What a delightful place! We sat at a hightop in the pub room, with lots of wood, charm, and excellent service. It was hard to... choose what to order, but our server Lauren said she really liked the shrimp tacos. My date ordered those while I went for theturkey, brie, cranberry sandwich. The tacos were huge, and loaded with shrimp. My turkey sandwich practically melted in mymouth! I highly recommend this for a relaxing, well staffed venue with excellent food.
