Pam has put a lot of work on this Inn On The River. Her staff was very friendly and helpful. Dinner at Snyder's Tavern was... delicious and delivered from the hotel kitchen. The location is handy for touring Glen Rose TX and Dinosaur Valley State Park.Highly recommend this facility. Read more

We didn?t know anything about Inn on the River or Glen Rose. We chose it because it appeared to be exactly what we were looking... for. It did not disappoint! My husband and I wanted an ?adventure ? for our 10 year old grandson with us. The Inn owner, Pam,welcomed us by phone before we ever met her in person. From the moment we arrived until we had to leave we could not have askedfor a more peaceful and restful time. Our grandson wants to go back soon and so do we!! We will be back with our whole family! Stayed here last summer, this place is great. Cocktails are great with good appetizers. Nice quiet place to relax if you ever... are near or just wanna stop by. Definitely planning on coming back. Just pay respect to Goerge when your on the second floor???? Read more
We randomly stopped in Glen Rose for a snack and a drink on a road trip and ended up staying the night at Inn on the River. The... staff was so warm and welcoming. We really enjoyed breakfast and the hospitality was great. I really enjoyed the company fromthe resident dogs on site. Read more
Spent the weekend here while we visited mountain bike trails around Dinosaur Valley. This place is a hidden gem. Beautiful... serene location right on the river, staff is very warm welcoming and helpful, food was excellent, we loved the antique vintagefeel of the place. Very dog friendly, wish we would have brought ours. Within walking distance of many unique stores andrestaurants in Glen Rose. We saw live music both Friday and Saturday night at a bar just a block away. Would highly recommendthis place. Read more
We were visiting relatives in Texas, and they chose Inn on the River as they place to stay during our visit. Pam, Scott, and... Ellis made our stay very nice. Very friendly vibe, nice restaurant, rooms were clean and inviting. Very relaxing andenjoyable...we really enjoyed our stay. Would come back again for sure!!! Read more
