Service was phenomenal! They remade one of the dishes for us and we were stunned at how well everything was handled. Every bite... was good and a savory one! Read more

Wonderful boutique French restaurant in the Hubbard Woods shopping area on the border of Glencoe and Winnetka. The host and... wait staff are impeccably polite and responsive. The food is top notch. We enjoy the experience every time we come here. Check it out. Read more

We came in hungry from walking at the Botanic Garden and were seated for a quick, early lunch at around 12:00. Two other tables... of 2 were getting started. There was a wait for water and ordering 1 onion, 1 butternut squash soup, the slamon appetizer andpate plate. We asked that they all arrive together. As the place filled, other tables were served food. One waitress .We gottasteless bread and rock hard butter during a long wait. Then we got tepid, mild flavored, SMALL bowls of soup ($9) - thebutternut was very sweet - and waited another 20 minutes. When we finally caught our server's attention, she apologized for thedelay saying the chef had come in late!! The pate loaf is in the display case needing a few pickles, lettuce leaves, and more ofthat bread; the salmon piece tasted like it had come out of the freezer and gotten heated up. It was hard and dry. We waited forthe chef? We spent 1 1/2 hours and over $50, for an annoying, laughable "French" lunch. Read more

Great little spot in North shore. Food was amazing. My friend said the quiche was five stars/absolutely perfect. Super fluffy.... I had crab cakes and soup which were also amazing. Excellent service. Also recommend the pastries. ???????????????????????? Read more

The indoor dining atmosphere has charm and a quaint French cafe vibe with nice mood lighting. The food however underperformed. ... Typically French food is played with flavors but the dishes we ordered were fairly one dimensional. The atmosphere was a 4 andthe food was a solid 3. Read more

I hesitate to review this sweet gem, with its intimate charm and delightful menu, because I don't want to overcrowd it. I can't... resist the exquisite duck, all crispy skin and tender juicy meat, accompanied by a tart cherry sauce and impeccably presentedvegetables. The salads are crisp and perfectly dressed, the soups light and beautifully seasoned. My sister always goes for thesucculent lamb shanks, which frequently sell out. We are headed there for lunch today, in fact. Such care with the ingredients, preparation, and presentation is rare these days. And don't even get me started on the Patisserie with its charming desserts.Just a lovely experience every time. Read more
