Located in the Chicago Botanical Gardens. Very long wait, just "ok" menu. Food was good but nothing extraordinary. Quite... pricey. Read more

The food was very good at an average price. The purchase time was a bit of a wait but the seating accommodated our large party... and had a great view! Read more

Very expensive average food. The gardens are beautiful so I'd suggest bringing your own food and enjoying it at the many benches... in the Garden areas. Cant believe a small lunch for 2 cost almost 50 bucks. Read more

Perfect cafe to enjoy a full day at the Gardens. Good food fast service and ample seating. Breakfast was decent. Iced vanilla... latte was perfect, not too sweet. The to go selection had many choices if you want to eat in the park. Read more

Meh...Over priced and underwhelming warm food choices. Prepackaged salads and sandwiches were small and pricey. Coffee bar was... okay with helpful staff. Best part of Cafe is location! Inside and outside seating is awesome...Bathrooms (entire garden aswell) are ADA compliant and definitely wheelchair friendly. Read more

The food is pretty tasty with options for vegetarians, vegans, and most allergies. There are kid friendly foods too. Soup is... very tasty and salads are fresh Staff are friendly and helpful. It can get busy at lunch on weekends and feels way too crowded.Prices are high but in the typical realm for cafes in museums. No cash, only debit or credit. Read more

We went for Sunday Brunch recently. Brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 AM to 2 PM. Like all the other times... we've eaten here the food was delicious. Lots of little extra flavor touches that make it tasty and interesting. For brunch, you order and pay at a counter and the food is brought to your table. This time we had a mushroom and cheese omelet,lemon-blueberry pancakes with blueberry coulis and a tuna melt sandwich. An outdoor dining terrace with grill is a lovely optionwhen the weather is suitable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The place was impeccably clean. The Garden View Caféis really a gem. The cost is very reasonable for a "nice" cafe. The only possible downside of eating delicious food in agorgeous garden is the parking fee. Even though garden admission is free the cost of parking is typically $25 per car onweekdays and $30 on weekends. Less for seniors and free for garden members. Of course, you could Uber here or take publictransportation or bike or walk if you lived nearby to avoid the parking fee. But when combined with a nice long garden visit, often with free concerts during the summer, the parking fee for a meal here seems really worth it. Read more
