I called in an order for mashed potatoes and beef gravy and told the staff I was under the weather and this makes me feel... better. She thanked me and said to let the server know what was getting picked up and they would put it together then, so it washot and fresh. Then she wished good luck on my journey to recovery. We arrived 20 minutes before closing, but were still welcomed to come in. The order was taken and processed quickly. Food was... great. One of the best side salads I've had. Fresh, crisp, and cold. The fish dinner was fantastic. Baked potato, even atclosing time, was hot and fresh. Wishing we lived closer, as we were traveling back home from a 50th anniversary party. Read more

Very quiet restaurant c very good (some) homemade food. On this day they must of had a new server/cook, our table & another... near by was given a different type of meat on their commercial order. But the foods so good my husband just excepted it.(Ordered pork & got beef). Our service was very slow, but we were there to socialize too. Bumps Family Restaurant is Amazing. Stumbled on this true Gem. The food is Amazing with Breakfast and Waffles served all... day. We went for the pressure cooked Chicken ???? / Broasted. What a Fabulous dinner I must say ???? Every meal that I seenlooked truly amazing. Comfort food for sure . Plus they have all kinds of Pies ???? Old school & Malts tooWoo-Hoo. Definitely Love Bumps . Service was Spectacular with Lauren , she Rocks. So if you're out in Glencoe, Definitelystop at Bumps Family Restaurant, I know I will again. I really liked the beef commercial sandwich. I got it to-go. It is tasty and quite a bit of food.
Order the "Commercial" Turkey or Shredded Beef with mashed potatoes bread covered in gravy Full Order. Take the rest home.... Sometimes they have the full Order for $11.00 save $3.00 regular price for my Mom and I saved $6.00 I can't Order anything elseyet so addicted to the Shredded beef plate. Read more
Nice small town restaurant to go for breakfast on a Sunday morning after church. Our server was excellent and extremely patient... with my son who has autism and practicing his social skills. I ordered the Panther combo because they donate $1 of it to thestudents of the school. You get a lot of food. Burgers fries and a shake! Read more
