Went here today because the reviews were so great but honestly wasnt impressed at all. Customer service was the silver lining... here though... great service. I got the sirloin steak & eggs, my wife got the pancake breakfast. Both of us agreed the food hadno seasoning whatsoever. My hash browns, eggs, and steak were all cooked well and steak was tender enough but there was just noflavor to be found. Read more

This place definitely deserves a 5?. The food is deliciously delicious. Very affordable I would say. Great place to be if you... want some quietness. The staffs very nice and professional. The restaurant was very clean. The silverware was nice and cleanunlike other places where you see watermarks. Great job 51st ave Cafe you've made my experience an excellent one. It?s a phoenix staple I lovely semi hidden breakfast joint with affordable meals not super cheap but not expensive either I had... ordered the steak Ranchero and it tasted better than I had expected. The beans were not bland the salsa on the side wasflavorful the steak was a bit chewy but the tortillas were perfectly warm and just how they should be for an authentic Mexicanbreakfast. I liked the lemonade and the waitress was friendly as well as patient sitting near the doorways is a bit chilly evenwhen the doors closed they have homemade desserts to purchase on your way out I had grabbed a brownie and it was pretty tastyI?m usually not a fan of chocolate too much but it was just right; definitely a place to take your family Read more
I really enjoyed the welcoming feeling of the cafe?? lived a few miles of the cafe for 20 years and one of my daughters, son in... law and grandson took PaPaw and I to breakfast. Big portions, friendly faces, good food and treated my 3yr old grandsonwonderful. Planning on going back whenever I get a chance to. Read more
