Wife and I have not eaten here in over 4 years. A Saturday morning around 8, not busy. We were seated right away. Christina our... server greeted us and brought our drinks. After a few minutes of looking at the menu, nothing jumped out at me. I settled forthe chicken and waffles. 2 good sized waffles accompanied by 3 small dry pieces of chicken with a bland coating. Mother's Day Nightmare! Our reservations were for 11:30. We arrived 15 minutes early. We didn't get seated until... 12:30. Hostess was overwhelmed / rude / short. The chairs are filthy and in need of reupholstery. Their espresso machine wasbroken. Light, gassy, odor was noticed off and on. Hand painted occupancy signs all over. Looks shoddy. Allowed patrons toblock emergency exit. Meals took ~ 40 minutes to be served. Eggs Benedict was hard boiled and broken down holandaise had flouradded to rethicken. Others had no complaints. Portions were good. But like we've all noticed what used to cost $10 two yearsago costs $15 today. The one real positive note was our server, Claire. She had to have been exhausted at that point in theday...but was cheerful, energetic, and on her service game. Conclusions: Someone made the obvious decision to completelyoverbook the restaurant. The staff were overwhelmed. The restaurant looks like it is on its last legs. Needs a completeremodel. Sunday Funday! Arrived for a late brunch.. it was calm inside, not crowded. Was given a very spicy Bloody Mary, which was... actually my daughter?s chosen drink. Hot Mama! I drank it while chewing on Rolaid tablets. Nk Food was ok. Nothing spectacular?But not bad either. Four hrs later my digestive system is very mad at me for consuming that spicy ???? drink. My 1st time at Mimi's?I just went there to get one of they're famous BLUEBERRY CRUMBLE muffins. It's made with sweet vanilla... batter baked with blueberries and topped with blueberry crumble. To not to go as usual with a cup of coffee ??, I choose a glassof MIMI-MOSA. A champagne split and orange ???? juice with a tangerine burst. Very Yummy ???? It seems like a very great place to eat, however for the 50 minute wait and then we waited almost an hour and a half for our... food. Forgot 2 orders and 2 sides then forgot one of the same orders. My daughter got her food last, we were all done. Didn'tget our Mimosa's until our food. It was a complete mess. For the amount of money that was spent should've been a helluva lotbetter in our opinion. I don't think we'll be back. Read more
I have not been to this restaurant in more than 10yrs. I was so good now. Today it was yummy good. the waitress was friendly... and polite. The muffins were warm and mouth watering. My main course was just as delicious. Read more
The place is beautiful but their food is just ok. My bread wasn't toasted a very simple breakfast with a high price ticket. Hope... you like it. I sure didn't. Read more
Haven't had Mimi's since the one off Dysart closed. As always the food is good and I appreciate the consistency of allergy safe... meals. Our waitress was amazing and we will definitely be back the next time we are in the area. And P.S. if you love an amazingmug of hot chocolate you will not be disappointed. Read more
